Making this spider work in the game really did wonders for my arachnophobia πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜… #gamedev #godot #indiegame #indiedev #blender

bruh, what the fuck??
All I said was that I was excited to play an indie game. That's it. That's the entire reason these people decided to start commenting on my appearance, my surname, and my gender. What the actual fuck is wrong with people?

I think as a gamedev one of the most important things to do is to create fail-safes. I recently added two: - kill the unit if they have been falling for more than 5 secs - forcefully reset the death anim after 10 secs whatever happens Do you agree? #gamedev #godot

Who is this guy and what the hell does he want? In other news, I started to learn texturing and UV mapping with some(?) amount of success. #gamedev #godot #blender #indiegame

This is unreal. I hope karma or whatever gets these AI cloning dudes
Someone recreated my game with AI and is now threatening to publish it on Steam unless I pay him $200. Obviously, I'm not paying. First video: my actual game. Second video: the AI-generated clone. He apparently found my game through Twitter, fed it into an AI tool, and recreated what he saw. Now he's asking for $200 or he'll publish it. I’m sharing this as a heads-up because I assume I’m probably not the only indie dev he's doing this to. I guess we have to be more careful about sharing our projects publicly now. You can spend months making a game, post it online, and someone can apparently try to recreate it with AI almost immediately. Not gonna lie, it’s kind of funny, but also not funny at all. #indiedev #indiegame #unity

Sometimes gamedev is about the small things. Things that you don't necessarily notice, but they just feel right. I just moved the dust particles when dashing from the center of the player to the lower part of it's feet. Now it feels much more grounded, what do you think? #gamedev #godot #indiegame

I'm working on a new boss. Maybe? I'm not really sure where I'm going with this, but at least it's some Blender practice

This is how games should be. Handholding is okay to a degree, but games should challenge you every once in a while and make you think.
AAA games hold your hand, so I did it differently. My game, Deeper Still, gives you weapons, abilities, and different paths, and lets you be creative.

stop, you had me at dΓΆner kebab
i spent all my free time over the last two years building ALATURKA from scratch, entirely on livestreams with a $0 budget. it is basically a PS2-era 70s Istanbul GTA with heavy driving physics and dΓΆner kebab deliveries. here is the new official trailer. RTs appreciated.

I don't really have stuff to share this week, because I actually reached a point in the dev cycle where it makes sense to fix bugs LOL
