People have already cited the Civil War, but even in less contentious times, a senator from Kansas is a vote for judges, justices, and legislation that directly impacts someone from New York.

I’ve always wondered how men with families pull off watching 40 hours of football over 4 days.
🇺🇸 In Virginia, a 64-year-old man was charged after he taped his wife to a chair in the basement so he could watch football upstairs.
Terry Ward was arrested last Sunday night in Richmond after officers responded to a domestic call.
According to the criminal complaint, his wife said he used tape to restrain her to a chair in the basement.
Ward admitted he tied her up and left her there.
She had marks and tape residue on both arms and told police she had been restrained for up to 45 minutes.
He faces felony abduction and misdemeanor assault on a family member
He is due in court on November 10.

This is like Obama going to campaign in California.
And if Obama did that, every RW influencer on here would be talking about what a sign of Democratic weakness it was. Will they say the same about Trump campaigning in Mississippi? Of course not.

My uncle is in South Carolina tonight, stumping for $7 diesel Darline, which gives me the opportunity again to give a shout out to Dr. Annie Andrews, for Senator.
Annie began her campaign as a long shot, and here she is, neck and neck with the Trumpublican lying machine.
Please, get out there and vote. @AnnieAndrewsMD @ReverendWarnock @scdp

We keep being told we must surrender our decency to win and then we lament how indecent the country is becoming. Every candidate is a worse candidate, but from pastor to politician, we’re told we must hold our nose or else. Now, we’re to defend the Vivek ad or else. Nope.

JD Vance is as hollow a person as you'll ever see. soulless cipher.
Vance endlessly tone polices Democrats. He and his buddies got private citizens fired from their jobs for making jokes about Charlie Kirk. But now @JDVance tells REPUBLICANS disgusted by @VivekGRamaswamy's ad about Amy Acton to "stop whining." Vance believes in nothing.
Highly unlikely Vance is even the nominee, let alone wins the presidency. The second Trump term will be remembered as a disaster and Vance will gain nothing from association with it.
Buried lede here (all apologies for the pun @JakeTapper): Nancy Mace saying JD Vance defending Vivek "might have cost JD Vance the presidency."

As someone who publicly came out against Trump 8yrs ago, and ended my career as a Republican by doing so, and have endured hate & threats from the MAGA base these past 8yrs, I have zero sympathy for, and utter disdain for, all 3 of these groups of cowardly former Republican colleagues of mine.👇

It’s sad to see how corrupted you’ve become by politics. You have been given the gift of a remarkable heritage and ministry. But like pearls thrown at swine, you choose instead to wallow in the gutter of the most hateful brand of politics, parroting Trump’s lies. Praying for you.
Do you know who to vote for in the midterms? Let me give you some help, but you decide. The Democratic Party wants open borders, while the Republican Party wants secure borders. The Democratic Party wants noncitizens to be able to vote; the Republican Party supports requiring voter ID. The Democratic Party wants to give taxpayer-funded benefits like healthcare to noncitizens; the Republican Party says No to that. And there are a hundred more issues. The choice is yours—but look prayerfully at what both parties stand for.

That’s not a “dead heat” that’s a rotting whale carcass on the coast you tried to blow up.
(Any real Oregonian will 💯 get what I mean and the rest of you should google exploding whale).
I think the Beto/Talarico comparisons often overlook how much worse Paxton is as a candidate compared to Cruz. No Republican or right-leaning indie with a conscience had an issue voting for Cruz. Liberals believed *our* contempt for him was shared by everyone.

Unless they have family here (which many do), why the fuck would they even WANT to return to the shithole country that kidnapped them, beat them up, threw them in a concentration camp, humiliated them and then shipped them to another country many of them had never been to?
I can tell you exactly what will happen if Democrats regain power: They will use your money to fly deported illegal aliens back to America and pay them settlements. They will re-open our borders and ship millions of foreign people to any community they want. And they won't stop until America becomes an unrecognizable country.

Really need to find out which staffer told Trump he’d come into the midterms with an 80% approval rating if he started a war with Iran.
Don’t you wonder who it was???

Yeah even I have to admit that their last poll showing her with a triple-digit lead was a bit unrealistic
