Reverse Hanlon's Razor. Never attribute to low IQ that which is adequately explained by evil. Architects of California's high income are EVIL, not "LOW IQ".

Don't praise Texas just yet. They went far leftist with Talarico / Hinajosa this midterm.
Ultimately, you can't trust the US right now due to far left socialist wave. Entrepreneurs & creators need to be vigilant. They have to look at the whole world and work with smart AND MORAL people whether they are in Ireland, Kazakhstan, Bhutan, or Argentina.
Elon Musk tried to build an entire empire in California
But California's dumb politicians had other plans. They made life so difficult for his companies that Texas ended up getting their headquarters and major expansions
These politicians really went out of their way to demonstrate their IQ to the entire world with this one
To be fair, maybe we need less nitro speed launches of new models. Not slower, just not this fast. We need to actually have some time to create amazing things with the models before they turned obsolete a week later. I think we could do w/ Opus 5.5 for a year to be honest.
Acceleration, SURE. But truly accelerate, not minute-by-minute play of Tibo's every cryptic "Le BuLlshiT Fat". This isn't boxing where we need update of Mike Tyson's jabs and hooks of to/from his opponent every half a second.
Imagine all the GREAT things we could do with Opus 5.5 if given time to explore its power. And rather than getting crazy over incremental updates (Opus 5.6, Opus 6, Opus 6.5) maybe we need a meaningful jump. So, yearly updates, but from Opus 5.5 we go Opus 8. If you think 1 year is too long, then 6 months. But the jump up to a new model is much higher. You still accelerate but without all the ra-ra silly noise. We focus more on getting things done.
Running around frantically every day/week over fucking incremental update of a frontier company is not productivity. What are we doing here? Volunteering as unpaid cheerleaders for OpenAI and Anthropic?

What concerns me is that the political landscape in the US is a significant factor in the delays to new model releases.
From all sides, I am hearing growing concern, resentment, and resistance toward AI and its development, seemingly especially strong in the US. It is no coincidence that data centers in the US are currently being rebranded.
On one hand, this is because many people view tools like ChatGPT and Claude merely as a "better way to Google," failing to grasp what AI is truly capable of enabling.
On the other hand, countless rumors - such as claims about massive water consumption in data centers - persist without being debunked. I plan to write a more in-depth article soon to address these myths. But the headwinds are getting stronger.
Guys, @AlexFinn made it to Eric Morrison's AI Influence Lunatics & Cringe show.

Common tropes against SI/LLMs by critics become outdated very fast. SI advances so quickly that criticisms against it have an increasingly short shelf life. 80% of what critics believe about SI/LLMs is already wrong & outdated.

In 20 years or less, we will live forever. So hang in there. Don't do crazy things with your life. Stay safe. Just wait a bit and you'll live forever.
OpenAI’s Greg Brockman says "death becoming a choice" is possible, and predicts AI will make real strides on curing diseases in the next 12 to 18 months
“I think that you look at something like biology, and that’s not something that’s unique to just humans. I think that we all suffer, that the question of even just thinking about death becoming a choice. All of this is possible.”
“Having cures for diseases is something that’s become also a trope in this field, but I think that you’re gonna see real delivery and real significant strides and impacts on biology, health, and curing of diseases over the next 12 months, 18 months.”
“I think it’s gonna take time to really deliver on the full impacts, just by the nature of this field. But I think it’s all possible and doable, and it’s exactly the kind of thing we have these models that are solving these unsolved problems. Clearly, we need to apply it to biology and life sciences.”

You have no f*cking idea how much of your Grok Bot limit is going to waste...
Paste this prompt into Grok Bot and it shows you exactly which bots and routines are burning your usage on stuff nobody reads.

Performative productivity, productivity theater, this is the scam of the next 2-3 years. If you have 30 agents, you are either selling something (good for you, make money from schmucks) but if you're not, then YOU are one silly goose.
Businesses need to stop treating SI as a tool for cutting headcount. Cutting jobs is lazy and fails to realize SI's benefits. SI can create business value by unlocking entirely new markets, multiplying productivity, accelerating innovation, and generating massive revenue. If an organization's SI strategy is merely to reduce headcount, it's missing out on the biggest economic opportunity of our lifetime.

SpaceXSI is preparing to launch a new referral program that rewards users with FREE usage resets
The official referral terms have now been published, and here's how it works:
• Share your personal referral link with friends
• Your friend gets 14 DAYS of 𝕏 Premium FREE
