Whenever there is national investigative reporting of this depth and quality into any other US industry, members of Congress from both parties will take action by holding investigative hearings into these business practices and bring company executives before Congress under oath. That has NEVER HAPPENED with gambling industry executives.
This story is as much an indictment of the complicit conduct of public officials from both political parties as it is DraftKings.
DraftKings developed an AI model to identify users most likely to lose money so that it could target them with promotions.
