But when this level of subversion to voter intent is taking place by Ballard lobbyists, I believe the most effective thing you can do is tell the truth.

BREAKING: @PUCTX votes to extend time to consider rehearing motions on 765-kV Howard to Solstice to maximum authorized by law.
Commissioner Johnson recused from vote.

The entire process has been chaos. Rushed timelines. No accountability. No due process for landowners. Estimated $10 billion in "uncompensated" property value. Utility bills go up. Grid reliability goes down. Failure to justify that these massive transmission lines will solve the problem. And approved routes that will destroy some of Texas beloved rivers. @MQSullivan @RobbyMontoya let's hope our state leaders wake up.
Well, what do you know… It seems the @PUCTX commissioners may not want to follow the Lottery Commission down the path to oblivion after all.

Things scarier than Halloween? Watching the state approve massive transmission lines through private property despite widespread opposition.
The Public Utility Commission of Texas recently approved the first of three proposed 765 kV transmission lines, despite objections from landowners, lawmakers, and property rights advocates.
American Stewards of Liberty has intervened in all five segments of the project and plans to appeal the latest decision.
For Texas landowners, the fight is far from over.

“How much? $100 BILLION, with a B?!”
That’s @drbennettTX's lifetime cost estimate for Texas’ 765 kV plan.
What do households get for their share? Where’s the added reliable generation?
Why not build power near the Permian’s abundant fuel?

Lawmakers Asked “Where’s the $100 Billion Number From?” Here’s the Answer 💰
Brent explains why this affects every Texan. Texas spreads transmission costs across the whole system these lines are being built in West Texas, everyone in the ERCOT region pays for them

Did Geren’s legislative role and his wife’s professional relationship with Oncor create a potential conflict of interest? Note that Robert Black went to Abbott's office 3 days before PBRP.

Our lives and livelihoods are more than lines on a map.
When landowners painstakingly document and map homes, schools, businesses, and productive ranch and farmland they say @oncor missed, is anyone reviewing that information? Does it change anything?
Does private property matter to @PUCTX?
These are families’ futures. Their concerns deserve answers. #Stop765 @GovAbbottPress @LtGovTX @TXLege_
The route was drawn from behind a computer screen. Scott Brown documented his family's lodge inside the 500-foot buffer. The assessment was never updated.

Massive transmission lines could soon crisscross Texas to carry wind and solar power. If Rahm Emanuel is praising Texas’ “green energy” push, shouldn’t that give you pause?

#txlege, #johnrich, #secrollings Here’s the truth. The Public Utility Commission Texas needs to be reformed. The Commissioners need to be elected not appointed so they answer directly to the Public. The very same Texans they should be serving. Lt Gov Patrick, AG Paxton, Chairman Schwertner, Chairman Buckley, 40 plus Senators and Representatives, and 6 Administrative Law Judges all have called on the Commissioners to delay or deny these extra high voltage 765kV transmission lines that are scaring thousands of acres of land and negatively impacting the livelihood of thousands of Texans but yet they continue to trample on our due process rights. It appears there are shady dealings going on behind the curtain. They answer to the large utility corporations that are guaranteed billions in profits on the backs of Texas ratepayers. They do not protect the very same people they were sworn in to protect. This has to stop.

#txlege The majority of the Senators on the Business & Commerce Committee are on the landowners and ratepayers side. The way ERCOT used the electric grid model to justify the Permian Basin Reliability Plan’s 765kV Transmission lines was manufactured. They “cherry picked” future demand and generation to force electricity to flow from east to west thus calling them import paths. They then included these massive transmission lines into the statewide 2024 Regional Transmission Plan as they were existing infrastructure. The three import path transmission lines were never checked for “need” in a statewide model that uses “all” future load and generation. ERCOT has created falsehoods….the Public Utility Commission hasn’t stepped up. As Senator Kolkhorst said….”We (l) don’t like Falsehoods!!!” Keep fighting…keep swinging away…ask for an independent investigation.

In a memo dated 8/6/26 Gleeson wrote regarding Docket 59315:
“Ultimately, I believe the ALJs misinterpreted the requirements in our rule. The plain language of the rule only requires that a utility hold at least one public meeting prior to filing its application. Oncor satisfied this requirement by holding at least one public meeting and mailing notice of the public meetings to landowners within 500 feet of the centerline of the transmission facilities as the project existed at the time. Oncor's actions were consistent with Commission
precedent. In past CCN licensing cases, the Commission has found that utilities satisfied the public
meeting requirement by sending notice to landowners within 500 feet of the preliminary links presented at the public meeting-even where the utility subsequently added or modified links after
the public meeting.”
Let me decipher this for you. Basically ONCOR doesn’t have to afford every impacted landowner a public meeting because the PUC makes the rules to benefit the TSPs not Texans.
The @PUCTX has the worst case of regulatory capture and cowardice I’ve ever seen. They side with Cali-based Sempra and to hell with Texans.

Permian demand is set to triple. These 3 lines carry only ~6 GW. So why are oil & gas majors pushing this plan while data centers go off-grid?
I asked @drbennettTX. He breaks it down.
My vote: Property rights. Common sense. My hard-earned money stays in my wallet to support causes I choose, not globalist ESG goals.
#Stop765 @TPPF
Permian demand is set to triple, but these three lines only carry about 6 GW. Dr. Brent Bennett on why the oil and gas majors are backing a project that won't serve them, and why data centers are building their own off-grid gas instead of waiting.
