One of the more annoying things about all this stuff is that those "bike shares" were probably put there by people on the strength of "anger due to lack of access to mobility" and people will probably respond to this by proposing more bike shares (or youth centers, or what not).

New @RebellionPac ad dropping in Michigan. We have to suffer here at home, so Israel can get all its wars. That’s why they buy politicians like Mike Rogers. He promised to serve Israel “unconditionally,” but never made that promise to you.

It started after 10/7, not after Israel's response.
The BBC has agreed to pay £400,000 to an award-winning Jewish documentary-maker who alleged she was subjected to antisemitism and pushed out of the corporation after October 7. Lucie Kon, 57, spent 22 years at the BBC and worked on programmes including Panorama, Today, BBC Breakfast and Storyville. Films she commissioned or helped produce won an Oscar, Emmy and Bafta. Kon says her treatment changed dramatically after the Hamas attacks. She alleges colleagues described Zionists like her as “evil”, argued that Israel should be called terrorist if Hamas was, and told her to consider what had driven Hamas to carry out the massacre. When she proposed a documentary about October 7, Kon says she was told she was “too partial” to oversee it because she was Jewish. She subsequently filed a formal grievance, but a BBC investigation rejected her complaint. Kon says she was then kept away from work for months. During a restructuring, her position was made redundant and she failed to secure the similar role replacing it. She launched unfair-dismissal proceedings. The BBC has now agreed substantial compensation, reported as £400,000, without admitting liability or accepting that Kon suffered antisemitism. Kon says Jewish employees still at the corporation continue to face hostility and feel unable to identify openly as Jewish or Zionist.

On this day—October 25, 1934 Harvard’s “Jewish problem” is nothing new. This day, the university held a mock trial of Adolf Hitler. All testimony about Nazi persecution of Jews was ruled irrelevant, and a panel of Harvard professors acquitted him on two of four charges. The very same Harvard warmly welcomed Hitler’s foreign press chief and personal associate, Ernst “Putzi” Hanfstaengl, only months earlier. The Harvard Crimson had argued he deserved “the marks of honor appropriate to his high position in the government of a friendly country.” Harvard maintained ties with Nazified German universities, hosted Nazi officials and naval officers, and limited Jewish enrollment. Events in 2023 and 2024 proved the legacy endured, as Harvard became a national symbol of campus antisemitism after October 7.

That’s a lot of words to say “this show is f’ed”.
‘Nobody Wants This’ creator Erin Foster responds to Adam Brody’s support for Palestine: “While I love Adam, I also disagree with him, and that’s OK … I want our Jewish fans to know that I see you and I hear you and I understand how you feel. The show has always been and always will be a love letter to Judaism. That is why I made this show. It’s because of how beautiful of an experience I’ve had becoming Jewish and being a Jewish person. And sitting here right now, at this time in the world when there is almost zero positive representation of Jewish people, I think it’s so important to have that.”

So glad Obama got us the affordable care act to make health care so much more affordable…
BREAKING: The average cost of a family’s annual health insurance premium in the US is up +$1,303 YoY, or +5%, to a record $28,303. This marks the 4th consecutive annual increase of at least +$1,300. Over this period, the average annual premium for family coverage has surged +$5,884, or +26%. To put this into perspective, CPI inflation has risen +13% over the same period, or half as much. Since 1999, the average health insurance premium for a family has soared +$22,494, or +387%. This represents an average annual growth rate of +6.1%, well above CPI inflation at +2.6% over the same period. Health insurance has never been more expensive.

If a "just war" theorist can't endorse an action (a) against a non-state adversary terrorist military that's been attacking a country with thousands of missiles aimed at civilians that (b) kills or wounds several thousand terrorists with only a handful of civilian casualties, he's become a pacifist theorist, not a just war theorist. Or just caved into anti-Israel social pressure from his leftist colleagues, leading him to spout nonsense.

Another "tell" that Walzer is no longer analyzing carefully is that he called the anti-Hezbollah pager operation a crime. Yet this was a model of hitting the most terrorists and the fewest civilians.

🚨🚨 THE ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK / THE DEMOCRACY FILES: A PRIMER 🚨 I will be using this thread to track all drops, so bookmark it. I spent most of yesterday backing everything (now 312 gigabytes) up in various sources and getting the materials out to others. I also produced an AI video (below) to explain the whole thing to others are not on 𝕏 - feel free to distribute. Here's the primer: USAID, the foreign aid agency, had a democracy office. Inside the agency, it was called DRG. Officially, DRG administered "democracy assistance." They'd go inside countries they thought were sliding into authoritarianism and help the opposition there. That assistance included election monitoring, judicary support, independent media, and civil society building. You may have heard the term "color revolution." The model comes from Serbia in 2000, where trained student activists brought down Milosevic with the help of Western governments, after sustained protests. With the help of USAID's democracy office, this model was implemented in many other countries to topple governments: Georgia's "Rose Revolution" in 2003, Ukraine's "Orange Revolution" in 2004, and many more. Then last year, DOGE shut down USAID. But the USAID democracy office didn't stop. They formed a group called the Democracy Renewal Group, the same initials as their office (USAID Democracy, Human Rights, Governance). Their goal: apply their own playbook to the United States itself. This goal became a plan, called Renew American Democracy (RAD). It invoked the "4 B's" framework. Block - use lawfare and protests to make life harder for the Trump administration. Bridge & Belong - control dialogue and win people over. The final and most important B is Build. Build means redesigning the American government itself, and the crisis is the opening. In their own words: "We can take that breakdown moment and leverage it for a big structural reform, you know, refounding moment." - Danielle Reiff, DRG lead. Calls show DRG working alongside DSA on ideas of creating a different government, one that does away with the Constitution itself. DRG does not run the Block operations. They hand it to UDA, the United Democracy Alliance. One organizer calls it a "huge galaxy": lawsuits, street protests, non-cooperation. They list No Kings, Indivisible, MoveOn, 50501, and many other mega-activist NGOs among their members. Another organizer calls UDA Erica Chenoweth's project. Chenoweth is the Harvard professor behind the three-and-half-percent rule of regime change: get that share of a country's populace onto the streets, and historically, the movement wins. The UDA is very "hush-hush." They have no website, no roster, no filings. Then come the red lines: things the Trump administration could do, such as calling the Insurrection Act on protesters, that would mean that the federal government, in their words, "crosses the threshold into illegitimacy." Nobody voted on those lines. There was no public debate. These red lines were developed within secretive working groups, and in a paper addressed to governors and staff. In the words of Reiff/DRG: "So that if there is a red line crossed in terms of a Constitutional crisis, like everyone's already pre-organized. And so Mike Smith actually said, he goes, oh, you guys have the day after tomorrow plan." Cross a line, and the paper's options include states refusing to lend their resources to federal officials, and governors convening what it calls a "Third Continential Congress." Running the UDA's Insurrection Act working group: Rear Admiral Mike Smith (RET) of National Security Leaders of America (NSL4A). NSL4A is also credited with operationalizing UDA, the blocking operations. NSL4A consists of about 1,600 ex-officers, spies, diplomats. They're turning red lines into indicators and running a situation room to monitor them throughout the midterms and beyond. The NSL4A's lawyers told them to stop recording meetings in case of subpoenas. But the rest of the network continued to record. DRG works in conjunction with Renew to Thrive (R2T), which ended up accidentally publishing 400+ calls and thousands of documents. These calls and documents were never meant for our eyes, but it's them, on tape. Thousands of NGOs and billions of dollars are involved in this endeavor. Most of them believe they're saving democracy. The problem is that people who spent their careers deciding when other countries' governments had lost their legitimacy wrote that test for ours, in private, and planned for what comes after. Who decides when your government is legitimate?

Voters of every race and creed assume that while moving away from Trump they will certainly be able to keep and continue to enjoy what Trump has already given them.
If you are a Jewish American disappointed that the Biden administration denied Jewish American College students their rights to equal treatment under the law and, even if you have mixed feelings about it, grateful that the Trump admin addressed DNC will roll EVERYTHING back…
