Our petition to the Scottish Parliament, PE2265, is gaining attention.
The Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission (SCCRC) has now formally written to the Convenor of the Public Petitions Committee following consideration of our petition.
Their letter, dated 23 October 2026, confirms some important developments:
📷 A revised position paper on sections 274 and 275, following the Supreme Court judgment in Daly v HMA, is expected by the end of 2026.
📷 The SCCRC has introduced a supplementary information form for applicants whose cases may have been affected by the judgment.
📷 Perhaps most importantly, 44% of Daly-related applications have been accepted for Stage 2 substantive review.
This is significant. It reinforces why these issues cannot be ignored and why people potentially affected deserve answers, transparency and proper consideration.
📷 Our campaign continues. We are fighting for fairness, accountability and justice for those who may have suffered a miscarriage of justice.

Still fair enough. A better title might indeed be 'Seduction/Persuasion on Trial', the former of which I already wrote, wonderfully read by @jeffreyketland, a year or so before @rustyrockets was even charged

One of the UN's favourite propaganda techniques is the suppression of male victimization data. In the report that they link in their tweet, you will see that 210 men were also surveyed. To my knowledge, the UN has never published the results from these 210 men. By not publishing the results from these men, the UN is then able to tell a story that only women experience online abuse and harassment.
The suppression of male victimization data is becoming increasingly important because governments are on the move to crackdown against "hateful" or "harmful" online speech directed toward women but not men.
Online abuse is silencing women journalists.
Think about the stories we’re not hearing.
Threats and attacks must have consequences.

Yet another “vanishingly rare” false allegation.
Courtney Clapham, 23, has been jailed for 3 years and 9 months after a campaign of false allegations against an innocent man.
She stabbed herself twice, falsely accused him of rape, sexual assault and serious violence, persuaded a witness to lie and even impersonated someone else to accuse him of raping a child.
He was repeatedly arrested, charged and held in custody. His life was nearly destroyed.

I believe that Russell Brand is being persecuted for being a high profile shagger at a time, today, when the past is not just another country, but enemy territory.
I see clear similarities between his plight and that of Oscar Wilde in his time.
Immorality and illegality are not the same thing. One of alleged victims took 25 years to come forward!
I don’t care for Brand and never have, but this wreaks of a ‘Me Too’ legal lynching.
The 1990s was the era of lad culture — football, lager, and ‘birds.’ I was there and so were many of you. In the pubs and clubs back then it was ‘Get your tits out for the boys.’
Under today’s social and cultural mores that is unacceptable, and rightly so. The point is that Brand as a celebrity filled his boots when it was considered acceptable. However that doesn’t make him a rapist.
No man is rich enough to buy back his past, which Brand among others has found to be true and to his cost.
The antidote to misogyny is not misandry. Yet I fear that this is where we are now.

I'd doubt these women have a great deal of interest in the Bible, that much I'd agree. And similarly Russel Brand appears to have misinterpreted some parts, I'd also say. You have one image of women, I have another. Those I associate with have strong, happy families who provide them with a reason for living. They would never want to send anyone to prison, even if thoroughly deserved.
Feminism is a cancer which devours every weak woman in sight. Their constant lobbying of government with their shamefully self interested demands has resulted in legislation which is entirely and appallingly flawed. The worst of it is that they have dared to presume to speak for all women. Real women hate, despise and even fear them, especially when they have young and gorgeous sons. They live in constant fear for them.
