Navigating markets without a forward-looking map is like driving looking in the rearview mirror.
Let us help you make better evidence-based decisions based on durable, persistent macro cycles.

On quiet days in the stock market, you sometimes find yourself wondering... what's next?
What little companies, with no fame or fanfare today, will become economic juggernauts over the next 10 years?
Unfortunately, this is usually where people start guessing — or listening to the next guy, who's also guessing.
But AI changes one important part of the problem.
A human investor can only keep track of so many industries, themes and companies at once.
Software doesn't have that limitation.
Sharestep maps listed companies into tens of thousands of highly specific economic niches, then continuously scans them for signs that something interesting is happening.
Nobody has to think of the niche first. Nobody has to type the search query.
When some obscure corner of the market starts coming to life, the system can surface it.
That's the idea behind sharestep.co.
No market hocus-pocus. Just a field of view that would be impractical for one person to maintain.

When you invest actively in thematic ETFs, do you actually know what's happening to your money?
Take $BUG, one of the best performing ETFs this week, up +6.7%, focused on the cybersecurity industry.
But take a closer look. Not all is as it seems.
Cybersecurity, like any industry, has its own sub-industries, product lines and business models.
Turns out, one of those has been flying recently...
Secure web gateway software. Up +8.1% in a week, beating $BUG by 1.4 percentage points.
Names $NTSK, $ZS and $FTNT are on fire.
Why? Well, the internet is quickly becoming a swarm of automated AI processes. Servers are being inundated with inorganic activity.
And so every needs to build a fortress around their infrastructure.
Increasingly, ETFs are just an aid to show you where to look for alpha. But to spot the things others aren't seeing, you need tools that take you a little further than that.

EVERYONE IS TALKING AI CHIPS. BUT HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT WHO OWNS THE BUILDINGS? 📈
Every model, every chatbot, every GPU has to live somewhere. That means data centers, and a lot more of them. I typed one idea into @ShareStep and it handed me the whole theme: $DLR, $EQIX, $AMZN, $BTBT and more.
Am I the only one that thinks this is a great opportunity?
AI growth and data center growth are the same trade. One cannot expand without the other.

A few weeks ago, @nikitabier gifted investors a pretty big insider tip.
He said bot management systems would be one of the biggest growth industries of the coming years.
Then something strange happened.
You're not going to get meaningful exposure to something as granular as "bot management systems" with $ARKK and chill.
You need a much higher-resolution view of the market to invest in a niche like bot management.
And it just so happens that in early September, a concentrated basket of bot management stocks started to rally.
Names like $AKAM, $FSLY and $RDWR.
Increasingly, if you want the extra alpha, you need tools that can pinpoint ideas like these quickly enough to act on them.

Have you had a enough of chasing after the semis rally that you didn't quite take full advantage of?
Are you spending today debating of $MU's fate and wasting time while $DRAM is trading into a coil all summer?
Meanwhile Genomic Sequencing stocks have been pumping behind your back.
$TXG +245% since we first posted it.
Your friends are probably bored of your semis stories at this point. Change the record. 👇
$TXG has now met the percentage based measured move from the inverse head and shoulders too.
Wild ride! +245%.
Said it several times this year since Q1 and will repeat.
Tons of action is going off and going to go off in pharmas, biotech and life sciences.
The few big moves that have kicked off so far are just the warm up.

This one's for the chart wizards. We've now got a candlestick view in the dashboard.
Not a full charting suite yet, but pretty damn useful for getting a quick read.

Pretty risk-off market, with $QQQ down over 5 days.
But broad weakness can hide pockets of strength if you've got the right tools.
Take $ARKG. Best performing ETF in a week, up +2.7%. It gives broad exposure to genomics... but broad exposure smooths over the fine details.
Here's something better.
We track over 40,000 stock micro-niches, going deeper than broad industry and sector sweeps (including in biotech and genomics).
Right now, library preparation kit businesses are up +11.7%... a full 9 percentage points ahead of ARKG.
Names include $ILMN, $TXG and $NAUT (an innovative proteomics business).
Whatever the headlines or broad market movement, there can be very different things happening underneath.
It's about finding them...
And sharestep.co just makes that easier.

By popular demand, you can now search all our stock niches.
I personally was really missing this feature. You can check in on just about any concentrated stock niche. If it's in the market you'll probably find it.
