Other men being in the group chat put aside, it’s still so interesting to me that a group of Christian women who heavily believe in their faith, and now revealed that some of them were married, were being somewhat lewd with one another in private.
Even if it was all jokes, it’s still in a sense vulgar levity. Which, I would like to think, goes against their faith, at least in a traditional sense?
I don’t know. Makes me wonder how true this faith actually is in the public eye if this is what’s happening in private.
The other men who were our husbands and one other male vtuber who was added later for a collab weeks later by you. the original members were me, Celeste and Ember assuming all of us were female considering the group chat you were in was named "vfoid/glizzy gals". The train comment was also made in a chat that only had me, Celeste, Ember, and my husband in it.
Were those strictly female only spaces? technically no and I don't think I ever personally claimed they were.
It still doesn't change the fact that I would not have interacted with Ember in the way that I did or would have been okay with the way he interacted with me if I had known he was a man.

I avoided commenting on this because I wanted to wait for more information and examples. But there's something that's come up that has me really annoyed now.
First, my opinion on what's shown in the screenshots. Which probably won't surprise any of you:
This is it? These are just casual conversations between friends. Yes, even in mixed sex friend groups. I would know. I HAVE touched grass before and have been around a variety of crowds.
Even more, they seem like conversations between women and specifically a gay man. I didn't know much about Ember before all this drama outside of being a decent person. And yesterday was the first time I ever attended one of his streams. So I don't actually know if he's gay, but in these screenshots he really comes across as one.
Maybe Ember really brings out his feminine side, idk.
Either way, these screenshots are a very terrible attempt at painting Ember in a bad light.
Now, what was it that has me annoyed enough to speak preemptively before more examples have been shown?
BananaJuJu and Leaflit have both confirmed that there were OTHER MEN included in the chat.
This revaluation has me losing my mind, dude. What are doing? Seriously?
Was Ember wrong for lying? Yes. Was trust broken? Yes. Does that excuse how Strawb went about it? In my opinion, no. Especially not after all this.
I'm so tired, man. This really does come across as a witch hunt at some point.

Thanks to Maria, people are now feeling obligated to defend a very nice person. Yes, its true, this man who lied about being a waman was very kind, and autistically asked for permission to even be "lewd". He is a liar though. And liars must be shunned imo.

This all girls chat is not an all girls chat at all, there were known other men according to Banana.
Maria's magnum opus shows herself egging on behavior- according to her husband, this is a deviation of expected behavior. Now i am not interested in causing issues for him but she brought it into the light, and he admitted he does not know whats in that chat.
However, the entire context of the situation has changed thanks to Maria. Thank you Maria, for wasting everyone's time.
Maria was the one who made Ember sound like a massive sex pest then shows ember being nice. this is probably why people have a need to defend him.
He lied. trust broken. life is too short to continue to trust a liar online who ultimately you will never meet. That was not a "character" because you dont "character" in private chat like that. stop it. this is all very silly. its okay that information as it comes out changes the opinion on the situation. This was not a man innocently using a waman wow avatar. this was someone who said i am waman to other waman and that is indeed violation of trust.
but MORE CURIOUSLY. is the hypocrisy and exaggerations around it all.
ON TOP OF THAT are my questions below.
the second image is a response from the husband who i did not know was the husband of Maria. The general context is about her screenshot she shared and i showed him where she egged on behavior. that was a deviation from expected behavior on his part- the husband. the rest of that tweet is explaining how someone might end up following me and irrelevant to showing evidence of deviation of expected behavior.
Maria made a vague tweet before posting "evidence" and her "evidence" is HER egging it on. What would an uncurated screenshot look like? how do we know they did not all egg on ember? how do we know there are not more men (thanks to banana we have an answer to that). how do we know they were not all engaging in the expected female degeneracy?
IMO: many things are true at once. also why is the person who insinuated Ember is a predator with vague posting wishing ember well? not so violated now?? i dont wish "violators" well.

Just not a fan of this constant need for purity testing and counter-signaling people on the "antiwoke" side... especially when it has to meet some kind of religious standard in accordance with one person's interpretation of Christianity.
It happened with the whole "abortion" debate, and now it's whether a right-wing VTuber is male or not.
I honestly don't care.
We need as much unity as possible on this side to push back against the leftists, and we end up with more infighting that opens us up to attacks from the LGBTQ.
Heck, even the current drama started because the transgender activists (whooith and others) convinced one of the right-wing VTubers (strawb) that Emberparadox might be a "man" and turned it into a huge deal... and now it's not even just Strawb who is engaging in the counter-signaling.
We got major issues to tackle on the culture war, immigration problems, functional society issues... and things like this don't even rate on my radar of shit to care about. When Western civilization is literally on the line, secondary or tertiary issues are a red herring, a distraction that will lead us astray.
Am I supposed to care that Ember wrote some cringe-weird romance novel about someone turning trans 10 years ago? nope!
Anime and manga have way weirder stuff along with taboo elements that are far more "morally problematic," and generally the anti-woke, anti-censorship side doesn't raise a stink about it.
