Going to try and make the switch for real.
If you see me on twitter after this, it's not because I lied, it's because I failed.

The fact they avoid northern France but visit southern England is not mere happenstance. The French have no doubt done something terrible to the Raven which we are not privy to

They are using a modern fluid technique for fog that’s never existed until this last gen, and few games use it because it’s too intensive. Most use volumetric fog instead. Gives you 80% of the same feel, for half the costs.
But this is the best the industry has and it’s used rarely, so being impressed by it is fair. Most gamers will have never seen this kind of fog interaction before.

People downplay David because V is such an OP monster in CP077, but in the context of the universe, David is a fucking powerhouse. Dude is chromed to the fucking gills, he'd be a final boss for your average tabletop campaign.

Imagine that your species is on the brink of extinction, and your role to play is being summarily rejected by every living female for the purposes of making every other living male more enticing by comparison. Which they proved. Empirically
Steve, a tiny dibbler at Perth Zoo, reportedly helped save his endangered species without ever becoming a father. Female dibblers prefer larger mates, and Steve was too small and apparently didn't smell appealing. Keepers used him as the first male females encountered during breeding trials. After meeting Steve, females found the next males more attractive and were more willing to mate. According to the zoo, Steve lived a long life as an unlikely conservation hero.

so we all know how it’s a popular consensus that vampires purr because bats do… well, when contented/satisfied (or irritated), bats will also do little push-ups, so it’s funny to imagine your extremely pleased vampire partner dropping and giving you 20 just for fun

I've been a hiring manager at a BigBox store. I completely believe.
>Walk in to get a job.
>Hi, can I speak to the manager?
>employee_regret_face.exe as they pick up the phone
>"There's a guy here to see you."
>"About what?" *sounds of a trashcompactor*
>employee_regret_face2.exe
>"About what?"
>I'm inquiring about a job.
>"It's about a job."
>*trashcompactor noises* "Did he put in an app?"
>"Did you put in an app online?"
>Yes.
>"Yes."
>"We'll call him." *sounds of trashcompactor jamming*
>"They'll call you."
>Can I talk them?
>"He wants to talk to you."
>*disgruntled manager noises* "Alright, let him know I'm on my way. It's gonna be a minute."
>time passes
>manager arrives, carrying temp logs and the nightly dock keys
>"How can I help you?"
>I'm hear about a job.
>"Did you apply online?"
>Yes.
>"Great. When we get that from the hiring team, we'll give you a call."
>Bell rings. Manager looking down aisle.
>Can I give you my resume?
>"Absolutely!"
>Shake.
>Walk away.
>Manager seen putting resume into a stack of papers on desk before chasing the alarm. Hiring is handled by online team without store input.
Four weeks later, the hiring manager is handed a stack of apps from the store HR rep.
Manager flips through it. Bunch of randos. Nothing crazy.
Manager finds the app, recognizes the name. "Oh, hey, it's that Zero kid."
"You know him?" assistant manager asks.
"Nah." Manager flips pages. Stops. It's the first time reading the resume, since it wasn't "real" until HR sent it over. "Holy shit, Aaron."
"Whazzat?" assistant manager chugs his third White Monster of the evening.
"Guy's a chemical engineer!"
"Holy shit."
"Yeah."
"He's never gonna stick around. Who else we got?"
Replying to @WallStreetApes
I am having a hard time believing he can’t get a job at McDonald’s or Walmart. Both have signs in my town for hiring. Something is either up with his interviewing skills, they see that he is just using them as a temp position, arrogance etc.
I get the engineering jobs. He probably has no experience. Did he intern for summers? Did he build contacts, did he spend time networking? Too many unanswered questions for this to be accepted on face value.

Every damn lawyer group chat I’m in absolutely exploded with this one today.
Wow. For years, an official in Arkansas allegedly tampered with bar exam scores, pulling points from some test takers and giving them to others.
This caused numerous failing exams to pass, and resulted in "at least one instance" where an otherwise passing exam fell below the requisite threshold.
