Detroit News: Haley Stevens' fiancé Jason Turkish says he believes Abdul El-Sayed is anti-semitic which has convinced him to vote for Mike Rogers.
Turkish intends to attend a Mike Rogers event on Wednesday, Oct. 28, in Birmingham.
There, Rogers is set to take part in a forum sponsored by the Republican Jewish Coalition titled, "Who Will Keep Us Safe? Rogers vs. El-Sayed in the Wake of October 7th and the Temple Israel Attack."

Every time I so much as imagine an electoral path to even just a softer collapse, I remember that the vast majority of the people in this country with any real power are now absolutely fine with bombing school girls, burning them alive, or letting billionaires rape them.

objectively funny that these guys kept slipping and falling while they were trying to commit racialized terror w impunity
Leftist streamer Hasan Piker mocked injured ICE agents at a sold-out Minneapolis campaign event alongside Rep. Ilhan Omar, laughing about "funny compilations" of federal officers getting hurt during Operation Metro Surge and joking that "a lot of hip bones were broken."
The comments ignited a firestorm from conservatives and even some Minnesota Democrats. Rep. Angie Craig and Sen. Amy Klobuchar publicly condemned Piker, while Omar's campaign defended her attendance as an effort to mobilize young voters ahead of next week's midterm elections.
Piker, who previously made headlines for saying "America deserved 9/11," has become a polarizing figure on Democratic campaign trails — embraced by some, rejected by others. Omar herself is facing her own scrutiny after HSI agents searched her D.C. home earlier this month and a federal court filing identified her as "Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, aka Ilhan Abdullahi Omar."

authoritarian this, authoritarian that. liberalism IS textbook authoritarianism. liberals built the carceral state, drone programs & imperialist wars. "stalinist" is just a lazy cold war era slur to shut down anyone critiquing neoliberal hegemony.

This is the woman, who, with funding from the CEO of Stripe, founded the first “YIMBY” lobbying org.
Everything we are seeing in the proposed demolition of the public housing sitting on the most expensive land in the country is downstream from this ideology.

the social democrats have learned nothing from their history as an ideological current. they will gladly repeat the events of 1919 Germany if given the chance, and when they are posed with the question of who NOT to shoot, their response will be:

Billionaires like Rihanna hate Trump but don’t hate how income inequality, lack of social services and oligarchy create the social conditions for a Trump presidency. If she was serious she’d support a wealth tax and ending citizens united not blaming voters for structural issues.

Would it shock you to learn last year's maniac candidate for Ward 12, foisted upon us by the business community (the adults in the room!) is now shoehorning her denial and resentment about losing in 2025 into a MAGA-style rant about how crooked Minneapolis elections are?

It feels a lot like Jessica Tisch is the NYC Mayor
⚡️ Mayor Zohran Mamdani's NYPD is poised to sign a three-year, $750,500 no-bid contract with Israeli surveillance firm Cognyte for FalcoNet, an AI-driven device that mimics a cell tower to track phones and can be mounted on police cars and drones or hidden in a backpack, the New York Daily News reported.
Cognyte won a tender to sell intercept spyware to Myanmar's state telecom weeks before the 2021 military coup, Reuters previously reported. Meta banned the firm the same year, saying its customers used fake accounts to target journalists and politicians in Kenya, Mexico and Indonesia.
The firm is part of an Israeli surveillance industry that grew big as a result of the military's monitoring of Palestinians, whose phone calls Israel's Unit 8200 has intercepted and stored by the millions, including to carry out genocide in Gaza and enforce a brutal illegal occupation in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
