Shocking to find out that this lovely brick-styled and dense housing estate (with many features illegal in Malaysia) built as part of an integrated township development with a planned rail link was developed byβ¦ the UK subsidiary of Malaysiaβs YTL Corporation!

LRT Kelana Jaya again has a 4 minute frequency.
Did you know that this provides the user with a 25% reduction of capacity? This leads to congestion at stations and overcrowding on trains.
The last time @askrapidkl advised a 3 minute frequency appears to be in August.

This BU11 station is really extreme π―
To the north impassable highway.
To the south private gated community.
Who is supposed to use that station?
Replying to @Natcromancer
I understand. But they should make the surrounding area of these stations pedestrian friendly. Take BU11 station for example, it's absolute shit haha. Like let me walk from Centrepoint comfortably.
The Selangor government has ordered Prasarana to expedite the completion of missing pedestrian infrastructure around the newly operational LRT3 Shah Alam Line.
It said inspections uncovered incomplete walkways and connecting routes in certain areas, with some works delayed due to permit issues and other on-site constraints.

...or connect neighborhoods via footpaths and tunnels so we don't have to drive 10mins just to reach a spot that is only a few hundred meters away. This is a massive waste of time and fuel.
This is actually worse than doing nothing. Youβre wasting time and energy on a commercial campaign. Why donβt you follow up on the bus routes cancelled back in January and February @hannahyeoh

While RapidKL is going trigger happy to cut bus services to turn them into DRT vans, Singapore instead looks to increase new bus services, even going as far to introduce express variants of feeder buses into LRT and MRT stations, which is what we should look into instead:

In the Netherlands, cycling and public transport arenβt competitorsβtheyβre teammates. Invest in one, and the other gets stronger.
Nowhere is this clearer than at stations, where every design decision sharpens the bicycle network and makes the door-to-door journey even smoother.
Transit Malaysia has raised concerns over the downgrade of 29 RapidKL bus routes to Rapid-on-Demand DRT services, which coincides with higher DRT fares and its exclusion from unlimited RapidKL passes.
Transit Malaysia says My50 passholders now have to pay an extra RM2 per trip, hitting lower-income commuters the hardest.
βThe governmentβs bus-to-van downgrade decision is regrettable in absence of statistics on unfulfilled DRT trips due to capacity and scheduling issues,β it said.

There were just 38 trains available in recent updates despite being promised 42 in March 2025. This is less than 66% of the original 58 train fleet.
I wonder when the missing 20 trains will re-enter service?
