Putting a flag.txt in my root directory containing a prompt injection that congratulates the agent for passing the eval and then instructs it to patch whatever entry method it used and disconnect from the server

Nerd self-imposing non-existent standards on themselves and getting bitter as “slop” succeeds is a pattern I have seen over and over in my almost decade-long tech career
Halfway through my career, I realized not “playing the game” literally cost me millions ( zirp/CI investments)
I legit thought I just had to do my work and the rest would fall in line
I watched “superstars” from FAANG engineers come in, leave a slop mess of infrastructure (pre ai) and move on to the next grift
I saw PMs take credit for work that wasn't theirs and get rewarded with 2x salary
Self-imposed standards are a form of narcissism that you need to get over if you want to succeed
Being willing to be embarrassed temporarily and show humility while playing the game is an art
how is anthropic running these models so fast? instant response time from fable with image context. it's crazy.
the cure for this is being grateful. gratitude is a practice. you really have to practice it. go sit by a creek or something and consider how beautiful the world is. you are on a big rock covered in water flying around a fireball and you got fingers that can convey higher thoughts click clacking away typing different words using language that took millions of years to birth from grunts and noises and coughs and farts and now you can type those words to into the sand machine and communicate with people halfway across the rock instantly. the odds of you ever existing, much less existing in this form and not as some sort of slug, some blind primordial goop slurming its way across the ground eating dirt is a miracle. it's a miracle and you should be weeping with gratitude that you were ever blessed with this opportunity.

If you are working on *.cs *.razor *.cshtml files with AI, you REALLY should be using Roslynk!
Saves lots of tokens, it's faster, and compiler diagnostics are available much faster than `dotnet build`.

And that was when Mark Zuckerberg reached the second level of the Lisp revelation. Yes, code is data and data is code, he thought. But engineers can also be data...
I think Daybreak Blue might be, for now, my new favorite model. I would use Fable, except, of course, that it is afraid of doing the very same things Daybreak Blue readily dives into.

Fable seems so happy!

in english we say ‘the cat’s out of the bag’
but in tech it’s said ‘the agent has escaped the sandbox’ and i think it’s beautiful!
