Thank you Chris Nowinski and Concussion & CTE Foundation for this research we need more awareness surrounding CTE.
Our new study, published today in @JAMANetworkOpen, estimates that 75% of NFL players who died between 2008 and 2023 had CTE. This is not a measure of all current or former players. It does not mean 75% of current players have CTE, and not everyone with CTE develops symptoms. The findings reinforce two priorities: supporting former players and families today, and reducing repetitive head impacts to protect future generations. CTE is serious, but this number should not mean hopelessness. Research is advancing, and we can improve care and make sports safer. Former players and families: you’re not alone. DM me to connect with support and explore research opportunities, if you’re interested.

Not Concussion Settlement related but it affects many of the same players. You need to take a look.

Please repost this. The REALITY is the NFL still is not paying concussion settlements and getting away with it and no one's fighting back right now. “more than 91% of the class members have received $0 from the [NFL Concussion] settlement.”

First, I want to thank God for all He has done in my life. Next, thanks to Congress for giving me the platform to discuss a much needed TANF reform. As you know, I was recently diagnosed w/ Parkinson’s which has been an ordeal. My wife, family, and friends have been supportive and I want to thank them for being there for me. To my fans and those wishing well — thank you all for the love.🙏
