کویٹہ پاکستان سے کافی ہزارہ برادری کے لوگوں کو آسٹریلیا نے ویزے دئیے جو اب آسٹریلین شہری ہیں
مردوں میں ٹرینڈ یہ ہے کہ وہ شادی کوئٹہ جا کر کرتے ہیں
کچھ ماہ موج مستی کر کے طلاق دے دیتے ہیں
کوئٹہ میں والوں نے حل یہ نکالا کہ جب تک ویزہ نہیں آ جاتا تب تک رخصتی نہیں ہو سکتی
کچھ سال پہلے میرے پاس ایک ایسا ہی کیس آیا
اس سے پہلے کہ ویزہ آتا لڑکے نے طلاق دے دی اور سپانسرشپ واپس ابھی لی نہیں تھی کہ ویزہ گرانٹ ہو گیا
اب لڑکی ویزہ لے کر آسٹریلیا تو آ گی مگر جب اس کی سپانسرشپ واپس لے لی گئ تو اس کا ویزہ کینسل ہو گیا
جب کیس اپیل میں گیا تو لڑکے کی طرف سے ڈیپارٹمنٹ کو یہ وجہ بتائی کہ کیونکہ رخصتی نہیں ہوئی اور سیکس پر پابندی تھی تو یہ شادی دو نمبر ہے sham marriage
مگر لڑکی نے یہ بتایا کہ والدین کے درمیان تو یہی بات تھی
مگر لڑکے نے اسے منا لیا کہ شرعی طور پر ہم میاں بیوی ہیں تو ڈنگ ڈانگ کر سکتے ہیں اور وہ کرتے بھی رہے
ہزارہ برادری کافی مظلوم ہے مگر جن کے پاس ویزہ ہے وہ بہت ظالم بن جاتے ہیں
ظاہر ہے سارے ایسے نہیں ہیں
اگر ایک اخبار کا مقصد اشتہارات کے ذریعے کمائی ہی ہے تو اسے بند ہی ہوجانا چاہیے.

تاہم ایکسپورٹ ٹرمینل پر کسٹم حکام نے دونوں جانوروں کو افغانستان لے جانے کے لیے اوریجن سرٹیفکیٹ لازمی قرار دے دیا۔
ذرائع کے مطابق کسٹم حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ ضروری دستاویزات کے بغیر جانوروں کو سرحد پار لے جانے کی اجازت نہیں دی جا سکتی۔

HRCP is deeply disappointed by the ten-year prison sentences handed down to human rights lawyers @ImaanZHazir and Hadi Ali Chattha by an anti-terrorism court in Islamabad. The use of anti-terrorism provisions, coupled with a trial inside Adiala jail and state-appointed counsel, raises serious concerns about proportionality and the right to a fair trial. We call for the verdict to be set aside on appeal and for the couple to be released immediately.

In 2012, #AtiqRahimi, the Afghan writer and film maker was attending the @JaipurLitFest, which was the main reason of my attendance. I remember @BDUTT was moderating a session on Afghanistan, that turned into 🇵🇰 & #India debate rather than #AtiqRahimi speaking about #Afghanistan and his work. For the first time, I was introduced with the narrative of #good versus #bad #Taliban. @RoryStewartUK was enthusiastically advocating for the “good” #Taliban because they had changed and as he put it, we (as in the West) should reconcile with the “good Taliban”. I raised my hand from the audience and asked him if he could define and distinguish the good from the bad and argued who gets to define them? My question was not answered but the then @ndtv under management of @PrannoyRoy7749 had showed the whole coverage, which prompted many Indians I knew cheering for the question I had raised. Ironically, the tables have turned, the #Taliban have become “good” for #India now. I personally think #India’s #ForeignPolicy vis-a-vis #Afghanistan was people centered throughout the 40 years of conflict, but its biggest blunder has been cozying up with the Taliban! #Afghans despite their poverty, know their friends and do not forget foreign interferences. #India chose to host and ally a group that prohibits half of the Afghan society, #women and #girls their #BasicFundamentalRights, not shocking when one sees how women in #India are treated specially when it comes to #safety and #education.

54 years old mosque imam was sentenced to life imprisonment and he has to serve at least 20 years before he could apply for parole.
Between 204-2015 he rapes and sexually harassed girls and women when he was serving as an imam in east London mosque.
Hopefully one day we will see the same justice happening to those imams in Pakistan who were involved in similar cases.

A letter by Allama Muhammad Iqbal arguing that his idea was of a Muslim province within the Indian federation further suggesting that the idea of Pakistan originated in Cambridge and nothing to do with him. Worth researching into this document.
I’ve so many beautiful memories with this place and with its shopkeepers mostly our #Hindu brothers from Kolpur #Balochistan. I guess now you aren’t able to see these shops as a new road is being built which bypasses this place.
