I just knew this moment to this particular designer ☺️ Zendaya as “Marie” in Netflix’s “Malcolm & Marie” wearing a custom Halter Neck Cut-Out Lamé Gown designed by Queens Native Jason Rembert of Aliétte NY. Costume Design by LAW Roach.

Gabby paid Raven’s slave owner no mind and spoke directly to her, that’s what I’m talking about because no one is talking to YOU!!
Gabby really got Raven together here

I used to think they were joking, but they genuinely, unironically think you can run a far left candidate in every single part of the country, and they expect every candidate to be far left whether it’s in New York City or Mississippi. They can’t conceptualize someone not as far left as them.
chronically online leftists already complaining about moderate southern democrats. pls give me a break

Part of being a stylist is timing, knowing when to give a look its moment. This will undoubtedly go down as one of Zendaya's most defining looks. The incredible foresight of Law to have asked Matières Fécales to hold the dress a year and a half ago before she even filmed the movie

As someone who lives in NC & like Mamdani….he nothing to do with us wanting to maintain our rights in our state. Or any place in the south. GOP fucking up & wanting control back did this. I need y’all to stop.
The entire Democratic Party owes a massive debt of gratitude to Zohran Mamdani. Before his rapid rise, the party was largely rudderless, suffering from a loss of direction, momentum, and self-confidence. By drifting away from the working class, the party naturally saw voters walk away in response. Mamdani single-handedly corrected the course, bringing vital energy, ideological clarity, and an authentic connection back to the very people who had been left behind. Without his influence, the party’s current standing would look very different.

New: NYC voters gave a confident “yes” to all five of the ballot measures put forward by Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s first charter commission, with election night results favoring proposals intended to streamline government processes. cityandstateny.com/politics/…

Extremely disappointed in NYC voting YES on ballot proposals :/ Although we are blue (cough cough we have politicians like Kathy …) The proposals were a means for the “efficiency” of not hearing any impacted communities voice. I’m saddened

Now, what if we get another Eric Adams or Cuomo in the future and now we have less oversight and say on what happens in our city? This is gonna speed up gentrification

Folks want to credit Mamdani, Hasan and anyone but Black voters. And you guys are confused about why so many Black voters don’t trust Yt progressives.

Adding to this, a lot of leftists are chronically online and learned activism through the internet. Thats why they have the superiority attitude and purity contests with politics. It’s not based in actual policy work or community building.
Lowkey and I mean this as no shade whatsoever a lot of leftists gotta learn how to talk to people man. Like sometimes you just gotta meet the people where they are (only those truly acting in good faith) because I promise you calling folks idiots and shit aint gone-

The most politically progressive horde of young transplants just gleefully disenfranchised local communities that have been here for generations in like two election cycles.

Mamdani using his celebrity to push through rollbacks of public oversight and his base just following like sheep.

I don’t think it’s good all 5 proposals on NY ballots passed. I just feel like how it’s written is deceiving and I don’t think people know what they voted for. No one wants unnecessary bureaucracy but not at the expense of community having opportunity to object
