The rising violence against women in Somalia betrays our deep-rooted heritage where tradition holds women as “Bir Ma Gaydo”—those who shall not be harmed—even in conflict.
We need to see more concrete actions in protecting women and children in #Somalia.

It is sad that on this Black month, we are reminded how structural racism is entrenched in America. The very Governor Desantos who banned black books would quickly jump on a black female Congresswoman to bad mouth her and lie about her. Ossie Davies lionized Malcolm X in his patriotic eulogy by saying he was "our prince." Ilhan Omer is "our princess." As much as Desantos is a neutralized Cuban, Ilhan is a naturalized African woman. Their difference is he is a racist and she is a progressive.
To the democrats, in the words of Ibrahim X Kendi, we are "not racists" is not enough. Please show to us that you are anti-racist by resisting Desantos and his ilks.
Let him tell that crap to his sick haters

If you want to understand how a patriarchal society lives, look at Somaliland or Somali culture as a whole.Look how the leaders, whether political, traditional, religious, or clan leaders are all men. Men are the decision-makers at all levels in our society! #SayNoToPatriarchy

When I see thousands of young Somalis from various professions speaking out for #Somalia ❤️ it makes me smile. I hope to see even more young people getting involved for positive change. Keep speaking up against corrupt leaders. Stay united, and don't let politicians bribe you. Remember, you are the future leaders, doctors, lawyers, nurses, Engineer, Police officers, military personnels and business people of Somalia. Protect your country from foreign interference and politicians who have become puppets for outsiders.

Yunus Emre Göçer, an innocent individual with two children, one of whom has a disability, was tragically killed by the son of Hassan Sheikh. This incident has had a profound impact on millions of Somalis, tarnishing the country's image, as the President's son avoids accountability. We advocate for justice for Yunus Emre Göçer, emphasizing the universal principle of justice that should apply equally to all, including the President's son. It is essential for him to face legal consequences, just as any ordinary Turkish citizen would in similar circumstances.
