Incredibly proud to lead such an incredible team @DSUBenadir under the direction of @engyarisow. Today’s launch marks the beginning of a long difficult journey to phasing out displacement in the region.

Shots fired and the old man responds with an invitation.
That’s how you get @HassanSMohamud listen. Unfortunately.
Sanbalooshe never misses his target.
The opposition should stop the timid approach.
Play fire with fire w/@HassanSMohamud.
ESTABLISH A COALITION PARALLEL GOVERNMENT NOW.
Let him see if Erdogan can give him legitimacy.
Let the fragmentation officialize .

Benadir - SW - GM - HS appointments should be recognized as such.
Appointments.
It has nothing to do with electoral politics.
The reason @HassanSMohamud remains politically comfortable is the weakness, inconsistency, and lack of principles of the so-called opposition members.
Simply pathetic.
Alhamdulillah for the priceless blessing of performing Umrah with my hooyo and praying behind Sheikh Sudais in the House of Allah SW.
In these difficult days, may Allah protect us from injustice, oppression, hatred, and those who seek to harm us and our kin.
Ameen.

EXCLUSIVE: Over the next several days, I will be releasing a series of previously undisclosed recordings that I have held back until now.
These recordings reveal disturbing discussions involving individuals with close ties to foreign governments in the Middle East about an alleged coordinated effort to destroy Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's reputation.
The conversations include discussions of fabricating documents, manufacturing damaging allegations, and weaponizing social media to spread disinformation about Omar.
This goes far beyond ordinary political opposition.
The American public deserves to hear these conversations and judge the evidence for themselves.
Stay tuned.

While Trump vilifies Somali Americans and dehumanizes an entire community, a young man in Minnesota risked his life to save a school bus full of children. You'd be honored to have a Somali family as neighbors. Thank you Ebro Ahmed. May Allah bless and protect you.
You and the expired government of @HassanSMohamud are the problem in SW. Your efforts to force Mr. Ansax on SW has failed. Sadly those good men are wasting their time talking to an installed stooge whose sole mission is to serve the interests of a foreign government.
Today, I held a virtual meeting with Arlaadi Council members Prof. Abdi Mohamed Kusow, Prof. Sarmann Ibrahim Gorodaase, and Dr. Ali Sheegow as part of ongoing consultations on issues concerning South West State of Somalia.
Our discussion focused on the vital role scholars from South West State can play in advancing community reconciliation, peace, stability, and state-building. Their knowledge and experience can help shape practical recommendations for lasting peace and sustainable development.
You forgot to mention he’s Somali American…
A Minnesota man saved nearly 20 children when their school bus driver suffered a medical emergency.

In 2021–22, Hassan Sheikh refused to step aside for opposition leader Sheikh Sharif; today, he bargains over the presidency through their shared Abgaal clan identity. Could you imagine anything more disgraceful? I doubt it!

Greetings from Bahrain.
We are living through uncertain and increasingly precarious times, both regionally and globally.
Now, more than ever, Somalia needs steady, principled, and measured leadership that puts the interests of its 20 million people above political ambitions and the status quo.
Looking forward to returning to Mogadishu very SOON, Insha’Allah.
President Obama stands in solidarity with Congresswoman Ilhan. TY.
It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically.
Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country.
Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case.
Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve.
In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota.
The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.
Amazing. Congrats.

Ain’t selective memory convenient?
As a sitting MP, @AliOmarMP opposed the same crap he’s advocating for right now in 2021/22:
an illegal term extension and an election lacking broad consensus.
May be, just may be, being the de facto foreign minister for 4.5 years and a close confidant of @HassanSMohamud is cause for amnesia.
If HSM continues on this path, there will be a parallel electoral process which will result in two parallel federal governments in Somalia.
Objecting to the announcement of an election timetable does not answer the legal obligation behind it. The Electoral Commission has cited Article 18(2), requiring parliamentary election dates to be announced 180 days before polling. Political disagreements deserve serious engagement, but they do not, by themselves, suspend statutory duties. Those challenging the announcement should identify the legal breach and pursue their objections through the appropriate institutions.
