Two GCSE Religious Studies text books about Islam and Christianity.
The Christian boy looks happy and well adjusted. The Muslim girl looks sad and oppressed.
Pictures tell a thousand words and the decision to put an oppressed looking Muslim girl on the cover of an exam revision book is Islamophobic.

Dear friends of Refaat Alareer around the world,
I want to share with you that after a long and painful search we have finally found Dr. Refaat Alareerβs body, which had been buried in a makeshift cemetery. Today, we moved him, along with his brother Salah, his sister Asma and other 4 of his relatives, to Ibn Marwan Cemetery near Al-Shujaiya, the neighborhood where he was born, lived, and now rests eternally.
Please keep him in your prayers, and may his family and friends find strength and peace.

Gabor Mate is like a Saint to therapists who will share and sob over his work on trauma, but actively disengage from his activism and rejection of Zionism. Hearing of much harm by therapists unable to hold compassion&space for many ppl impacted by genocide.

I hope she and her family get justice.

On the night of August 8th, a 31-year-old female doctor diligently completed her duty, as she had done countless times before. After finishing her shift, she shared a quiet meal with her juniors at 2 AM. Exhausted from the long hours, she sought a moment of rest. With no designated room provided for doctors, she settled down to sleep in the seminar room, a makeshift refuge for those who work tirelessly through the night. Little did she know, this would be the last time she closed her eyes with a sense of routine comfort.

These riots started in Parliament.
Rioters chant βstop the boatsβ and βwe want our country backβ - using language from politicians across the political spectrum.
Itβs not enough to call out violence, politicians need to stop normalising hate. In policy and practice.
