Pretty incredible satellite loop of Helene and all the rain that fell ahead of it. Days of heavy rain from a hurricane is a true worst case scenario for a mountainous region.
Vienna 10/10 definitely recommend! @KLM not so much… it’s been a rough travel day starting with a delay on my first flight leading to a cascading effect and still not sure if I’ll make it home tonight.
Only to be told by the gate agent that I was automatically rebooked and could not get on my original flight (even though I was present at the gate and other passengers were still boarding). Picture of the plane that I was supposed to be on:
I was stuck at Schiphol for an additional five hours with very little information on when my next flight was and if I’d make it home tonight. How is this okay?! I’m exhausted and disappointed in the poor customer service. Please make it right @KLM
