Ahh I see, my estimate wasn't considering cached tokens. Wow then Openrouter does a significantly less volume of traffic than I thought.

“OpenRouter says that by September 2026, just under 90% of agentic tokens were cached prompt tokens, compared with around 60% in January. For example, an agent might send 100,000 prompt tokens on each of 100 steps, with 90,000 tokens served from cache each time. That produces 10 million counted prompt tokens, even though much of the underlying context is repeated.”

So SI can’t do self research?
heard in Silicon Valley: Security researchers will soon make more than AI researchers.

Reflexivity tho… as that data center trade sells off.. rates go down and data center investments get bid again no?
And there it is, $AMZN and $INTC. That’s 4 bellwethers taking a dive in the last 24hrs. Can’t CapEx your way out of yield compression. Take the pain, guide down & live to fight another good fight.

Thinking back, small cap semi stocks peaked in the June. Now mega caps are rolling over, which fits historical pattern perfectly.

go fuck yourself for even mentioning stocks like $IREN (or shall I say “hypervisors”), which are absurd mgmt money grabs with zero performance hurdles oh well - guess they learned a ton from your SPAC scams

Claude is pretty useless when the code you're trying to write has never been written before.

Welp. Opened a factory in Cincinnati, moved all midwest/east volume over there. Aaand the Utah factory is at capacity again.

I went through every data vendor that launched in the last 3 weeks. Almost all of them are lying about their revenue, their lab partnerships, and their backgrounds. (skip to 1:04 if you want to skip context) Too many founders and VCs have been fooled by these people. Stop believing everything you hear. Data is much harder than most people think.
my unfiltered thoughts on the data industry right now: there are too many brokers in the data space. in the last 4 months this industry has become the new equivalent to dropshipping. i have no issue with that. but if your entire moat is spam calling smb owners all day and begging them to license their data for a micro1 referral fee, you are not going to make it, and you are not the next mercor. most of you are not building anything at all. to everyone reading this, and the hundreds of other posts on your timeline from 18 year old sf kids claiming $200m run rates please ignore them. these are the modern day elizabeth holmes’. they're taking one day of contracted (not paid) revenue and multiplying it by 365. the worst i've seen is someone who made $100k off a micro1 referral fee in 6 hours and claimed they're at a $73m run rate (12 (daily working hours) / 6 x $100k x 365). this is literal fraud, especially if you raise money off of this claim. you see this in a lot of yc companies in recent batches. the only businesses i see surviving this are the giants that already exist (mercor, micro1, surge ai, turing) and the non consensus bets: consumer data collection apps like kled, robotics data collection companies like build ai and meckaai, etc. tldr: don’t believe everything you read, and just brokering company data is not a venture scale business and should not be claimed as such.

This comes straight from the "technically true, but leaving so much out it's practically a lie" school of journalism. SpaceX is switching to Starship. That's why it's not taking any more Falcon orders. If Starship becomes operational a week from now, why in the world would they want to keep flying Falcons into 2029 or beyond?

SITUATION DETECTED: Sam Altman said OpenAI will point its robotics program at building data centers, and that self-replicating OpenAI data centers with AI-controlled robots running fabs, building solar panels, and constructing more data centers - are now “within grasp.”

Meet Origin. Industrial robots cost six figures and need a team of engineers. Small businesses got left out. Not anymore. Automation for businesses of every size. Pre-orders open next week. $9,950.
