I'm hiring network engineers @google! If you're interested in reimagining the way we think about network devices, using software to manage network infrastructure, and helping define where the networking industry goes - drop me a line!

Congrats to the @RoutingMANRS folks for doing what many tried to do before but failed: make internet routing significantly more secure with mechanisms that can be readily adapted.
"Google is among the large networks that has participated in @RoutingMANRS -led task forces to incorporate better security practices, to ensure BGP can continue to serve as a secure routing protocol."

Some more details on what we’re doing @google to push routing security forward - working with @RoutingMANRS and other service providers. Thanks to @bikashkoley73 and @royalhansen !
We at @google are expanding our commitment to secure Internet routing.
With 99% of our routes in #RPKI already, we are rolling out origin validation shortly and joining force with @RoutingMANRS to help move the industry forward

Nice article in WIRED today on BGP routing security work happening at Google and across the industry. Really enjoy working with internal+external collaborators on this fascinating (and hugely challenging!) problem. wired.com/story/bgp-routing-…
And big thanks to @RoutingMANRS for providing the forum for this collaboration to happen

I am surprised by extreme views on 10x engineers. They are great individual contributors. They may not be good with teamwork. So what? They can be phenomenal in the early stage of the product cycle.
Find the best in each & get the best out of them. That's what good managers do.

I have worked with and admire many folks in LF networking projects, but am confused as to how this new layer helps users, and why is it called a "fund" (not sure it highlights the right aspect) goo.gl/sQwLMX
More details on native implementations of @OpenConfig models, this time a nice post by @einarnn from @CiscoSP360 blogs.cisco.com/sp/openconfi…
Nice video ... even with examples from @robshakir's great pyangbind tool ! teapaw.org/ipallavimahajan/status…
OpenConfig is not a buzz word, it is implemented on Junos @JuniperNetworks youtu.be/XaJi7ZI-1uc

.@anees_s OpenConfig is not LCD, it's 'operationally complete' <-- power of user collaboration #futurenet16
Pretty impressive group assembled at #futurenet16 -- got some great questions on @openconfig. Great job by @_drbruced and team
should be a good meetup Tues with @tsunanet's talk on @grpcio for network telemetry -- look for more to come on gRPC for network mgmnt
enjoyed #interop #NetDevOps session on @OpenConfig and OSS tools -- thanks to @jedelman8 for putting together a great program
