The purpose of my documentary is not merely to expose corruption at the highest levels of government. It is to expose a fundamentally broken system-one without effective checks and balances, where power is concentrated at the very top, preventing the equitable distribution of wealth, resources and opportunity.
The problem isn’t just corrupt individuals. It’s a system that enables corruption.

Restricting vehicles cannot become the entire solution. If govt can stop a commuter at Delhi’s border, it must also stop industrial violations/garbage burning/dust pollution across NCR. Air pollution does not know jurisdiction.

She calls for year-round action, flagging inadequate public transport, industrial emissions & garbage burning as key concerns.

Deplorable of Congress to refer to PM Modi's baap in a common slang phrase.
Especially when Modi-ji has shown such admirable restraint towards Rahul, Rahul ka baap, Rahul ki maa, Rahul ke baap ki maa and Rahul ke baap ki maa ka baap.
#WATCH | A ruckus broke out during Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge's address at the 139th birth anniversary celebration of Dr. Shri Krishna Singh in Patna, Bihar

Construction and #demolition without compliance, especially in 🏠 residential areas, is nothing short of a #healthhazard.
Many of us have witnessed it and been directly impacted ..windows kept shut for months, even on good-air days; neighbourhood air filled with dust and emissions from heavy construction vehicles; fine demolition dust entering our kitchens and settling on clothes drying outdoors; days of dust allergies and difficulty breathing.
Then there’s soil and debris spilling onto roads, tiles and stones being cut alongside sariya on public roads right outside our homes, the unmistakable metallic smell, tractors transporting construction material or malba without adequate dust suppression, and debris being thrown down from higher floors. The list is endless.
All because basic safeguards are missing at demolition and redevelopment sites.
Here’s a simple infographic by @kameshp96 (HSPCB). Please share it with your RWAs, families, builders and contractors. A few basic compliances can make a real difference.
Dust containment means just that -#ContainTheDust ! Not flimsy nets, loose soil and sand spilling outside, or tin sheets with gaping holes. Even smaller sites must ensure #wheelwashing of #constructionvehicles to keep internal society roads free of dust and debris.
It’s a long haul, but awareness of what is mandated, and by whom, is a start. Development authorities must also ensure their enforcement teams monitor smaller sites that may not feature on dust-monitoring portals.
We are not a noise, but a voice of concern. We are asking for the basics ..a clean, healthy neighbourhood where our children can grow and our seniors can breathe easier.
Development must continue, but not at the cost of our health. 🌿

The alarm bells that this year is going to be Super El Niño year is ringing since January of this year.
Scan if any one in the polity, any leader in power - agri / commerce/ finance / pmo / hm, any one from RSS, wrote / said / proposed / warned / promised anything about it, assuming off course if they know that El Niño is not a narco drama.
On the contrary they wrote columns arguing why chopping Nicobar is good, gifted away land for resourcing guzzling data-centres in drought prone regions, diverted food stock to ethanol, put people who are opposed forests diversion to mining and unscientific hydro projects behind bars.

Even an environmental scientist is wondering if the monitors are being calibrated properly or relaying data correctly. The BMC and pollution agencies' nexus with the developers is too deeply embedded to bother about such 'trivial' matters!
Also, do read this Q&A!
Faulty air monitors at Mumbai’s construction sites: the government’s air pollution monitoring vans must be deployed now.
Awaaz Foundation photographed the displays at construction sites in Bandra and Khar 230 times across 38 days (Mar–May and Sep–Oct 2026). On the 26 days between 23 March and 5 May, we compared each site reading with the Government’s own Kherwadi and BKC station readings on the SAMEER app. For September–October we used the daily AQI (US scale) for Mumbai from aqi.in.
What we found:
🔴 PM2.5 of 0 at active sites. On 13 April one monitor showed PM2.5 at 0 while PM10 on the same screen was 34, which is impossible.
🟠 On 16 of the 26 days, at least one monitor showed PM2.5 below 10 µg/m³, well under the WHO’s 15 µg/m³ guideline. Altogether, 37 readings were below 10.
⚠️ On 3 April, when Kherwadi and BKC recorded PM10 of 91 and 133, most monitors showed single digits.
⚫ Monitors were switched off on 7, 10 and 11 April, and on 10 other days at least one display was unreadable.
The BMC has said it will fold these readings into its official findings. Unless the data is first certified with calibrated meters, that exercise is meaningless and may mislead the people who rely on it. A wrong number that looks official is worse than no number at all.
We urge the authorities to:
Calibrate, audit and certify every site monitor before using its data.
Publish real-time, time-stamped PM2.5 data online, on a public website that lists all active construction sites along with past data.
Act against sites with faulty, switched-off or misleading displays.
Use this data in construction monitoring and licensing only after its accuracy has been checked.
Urgently deploy the government’s 40 air-pollution monitoring vans, which carry calibrated instruments, to measure air quality at construction sites across the city, starting with the sites where readings are faulty, zero or switched off. Use the vans’ data, not the uncalibrated site monitors, to track local-level pollution until every site monitor has been certified. @Dev_Fadnavis @CMOMaharashtra @mybmc @mpcb_official
