What’s happening in France?! This is so uncharacteristic for them. I can only conclude it’s the influence of Islam. The French used to be so measured in protesting power. If you don’t believe me look up Marie Antoinette’s famous Jubilee video: 1 Queen versus 20 Revolutionaries.

It’s so funny to make a whole fuss about challenging yourself to make a 12-song album with only bangers, release that album and have it be the most poorly received album of yours in decades critically, then be like “you guys just loved it so much we gotta do four more songs”

FYI Blue Heron was not eligible for the international feature category of the Oscars as they require films to be at least 50% non english, that being said, it *is* eligible for Best Picture against other small indies such as The Odyssey, etc.

I made this handy video to help you keep track of all the prestigious jobs landed by the primary facilitators of Israel’s genocide in Biden’s administration. You can watch my full interview with @AkbarSAhmed in the quote-tweet.

Israeli directors Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor — who are two of the four co-directors of Oscar winner “No Other Land” — return with "NAZA." The new documentary was shot at night on the rooftops of Tel Aviv and shows “in detail the systems behind Israel’s calculated mass killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza,” per an official synopsis. Abraham and Szor interviewed 24 Israeli military intelligence officers and soldiers — all of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity — who were involved in the surveillance or remote killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza. Their appearance and voices were digitally altered to disguise their identities. "I think that this piece is likely to make the denial of what took place in Gaza — not only its genocidal nature, but really the specifics of what it looked like from inside the Israeli system — harder. We know there is a lot of denial happening. And to me, that denial is one factor that contributes to the crimes persisting," Abraham tells Variety. variety.com/2026/film/festiv…

He’s giving a PowerPoint presentation on how Israel wants to do ethnic cleansing. Totally normal country. Good thing our legislators just passed made it illegal to not want to deal with them.

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir: We are talking about our targets: 250,000 leave Gaza in the first year. It is possible. One million leave Gaza within three years. Within seven years, we can reach almost 1.9 million who will leave Gaza.

May your soul rest in peace, Sliman Mansour. His breathtaking body of work is an eternal depiction of Palestinian beauty and steadfastness. These are my favorite ones: Holy Family and Palestinian breakfast. Allah yerhamo.

I think I could actually be happy in a small city if I had a good movie theater, record store, three restaurants, vintage shop, two bars, bookstore, farmers market, park, body of water nearby, and a bike

having spent the better part of a decade seeing endless images of people who look like me get murdered and starved, i don’t remember months long discourse about how those images are affecting ppl. why is this imagery suddenly so serious when it’s emaciated white starlets?

Imagine being a firefighter and Wes Anderson comes up to you in an all white suit and says “Um, can I ask— do you have— when you guys— was this experience— do you have any theory of what was… wrong with it, or.” The dream
