We are disappointed by @IslingtonBC's Sobell ice rink decision report which still contains erroneous information. The pre-determined, ill-informed report treats the community with contempt. Questions submitted to Full Council are still unanswered. @Cllr_NTuran has gone on leave.

LBI spent £2.2M on Sobell trampoline park. Should be repaid by GLL's enhanced rent, but did not pay £1.274M pa during pandemic and arrears are £2.76M. To recoup lost LBI are using £1.8M ice rink insurance funds on a soft play area. Why are LBI converting Sobell into a theme park?

Great article by @IslingtonTrib about concerning findings from the FOIA request about @SaveSobell Ice Rink. I’m disillusioned and disappointed by how council runs the consultation. We deserve better.

Hat's off to @SaveSobell for their FOI to @IslingtonBC over their plans to close the ice rink.
Labour's approach just undermines confidence in consultation processes and appears to show a disgraceful lack of candour in their suggestion they "make it look like we are listening".
