Laundry is a battle you can't win. Especially if you have kids. After our second baby, the laundry situation in our home went crazy. There were piles of unsorted laundry EVERYWHERE. Well, not anymore. Because we DIY'd a system. Introducing the "Trofast Laundry System" 👇👇👇

object oriented programming man's greatest sin. it's a sin of pride, a sin of hubris. to think that we think we could abstract over god's creation

There’s this curious background belief many have where they think most systems must operate near the efficient frontier except of course every system they’ve ever worked inside.

What if your browser could zoom out from a page to see the connections? Not 100% sure where I'm going with this yet... something about pages vs overviews which will marry up with previous hyperlink/presence sketches (somehow). So I wanted to get the underlying code working

Trying a thing. This game is implemented as a state machine in Rust, copies of which run both in the server and on the clients (through #webassembly). Plays are just state transitions, and are broadcast to all clients to keep the states in sync.

With two young kids, it's hard to solve #thisweeksriddler from @xaqwg as often as I'd like, but this week's Classic was too fun to pass up. I found the optimal strategy for the #blindletterchallenge using #rustlang to brute force all letter/index combinations. (spoilers ahead!)

Anyway, this was a super fun way for me to build up my #rustlang skills while solving a great puzzle (thanks @xaqwg!) I'll try to post my code to the blog later this week. Feedback welcome!
