I’ve said this before but it bears repeating. The U.S. moved heaven and earth to bring Osama Bin Laden to justice. Not because he flew an airplane into the World Trade Center. But, because he incited his followers to. This should apply to Trump as well. (If anything happens.)

Complete BS. Private schools are allowed to exclude those with learning needs and those who don’t subscribe the their religious beliefs. They don’t provide transportation. So many parents don’t have a choice at all.

While I was rooting for Eubanks, I couldn’t help but feel bad for Medvedev, a man without a country, and few cheering for him. Great game!
Achievement Unlocked 🔓 @DaniilMedwed is into his first #Wimbledon semi-final 👏

Outstanding.
NEW: Following SCOTUS’s decision on affirmative action UNC-Chapel Hill says it will offer free tuition to incoming undergrads whose families make less than $80,000. @UNC #ncpol @SpecNews1RDU

The fact that he would out the words “common sense” in a description of himself is just 🙄🤣
Our state is not in need of another lawyer turned politician on a never ending quest for a higher office. We need a true representative of everyday Americans; someone who's walked in your shoes and can bring down-to-earth, common sense solutions to the Governors Office. #ncpol

Today, the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act goes into effect, providing pregnant and postpartum workers the long overdue protections and accommodations they need. @POTUS and I vowed to build an economy that works for women – and this law is a critical step forward.

But you’ll have to take my word (and the “studies” I haven’t identified) for it because @NCGOP legislators have created the least accountable voucher system in the country so we really have no idea of NC student outcomes are improving. 🤡 #nced #ncpol #ncga
School choice leads to better academic outcomes for students. Studies have shown that students who attend private schools, even those with vouchers, tend to perform better academically than students who attend public schools.

Replying to @NCGOP
If parents have these rights that you speak of, why weren't parents allowed to comment during the meeting with Cotham pertaining to parents rights .....???

I support women’s reproductive freedoms. After a thorough review of the case in Planned Parenthood v. Stein, I have concluded that many of the provisions in North Carolina’s anti-abortion law are unconstitutional. My office will not defend those parts of the law.

One notable exception to this rosy picture is children with special needs. Many of the schools that @NCGOP wants to expand voucher funding for do NOT accept students with IEPs (individualized education plan). Public schools accept all children. #nced #ncpol #ncga
When parents are able to choose the school that they believe is best for their child, they are more likely to be satisfied with their child's education. This can lead to lower dropout rates and higher graduation rates, which saves money in the long run.
