In Dec 2023, Russia warned the Bangladesh that if the election results didn't favor USA, unrest and a coup attempt could follow. Awami League govt dismissed the warning, which later proved true.
Now, Sputnik has issued a similar warning about India.
Hope the GoI is taking this more seriously than Bangladesh did, because on the face of it, they seem to be ignoring/downplaying the fact that, of late, Western embassy officials have been meeting with farmer leaders, activists, YouTubers, extremist Islamic leaders, and Kashmiri politicians.

Jauhar should be analysed from the circumstances prevalent during medieval times. If Jauhar was about patriarchy, misogyny, "what will women do if her man is no more" and blah blah, then women would've committed Jauhar during battles of Hindu kings against Hindu kings too. But it never happened (except for one odd incident where Hindu King was fighting alongside Mughal forces against a Hindu King).
Jauhar started only after invasions. Woke narrative says Jauhar denied women their autonomy and choice by presenting self-immolation as the only viable option.
Yes that was the ONLY viable option. Invaders used to rape girls/women over the dead bodies of their fallen fathers/husbands. They were then taken to the Middle East slave market, sold like cattle, and subjected to sexual, physical, mental exploitation until they died from sickness/violence.
The women faced two options when the defeat of their fathers/husbands was imminent : "death" OR "death after years of gruesome humiliation and exploitation". Which one of these was viable? Think for yourself.
They died, not to preserve the sexual sanctity, but to preserve the dignity of life. It's you people who reduce them to vaginas.
Lastly, Sati and Jauhar are two different concepts. Do not bring up the former to make a point about the latter. I do not support either practice, absolutely not. Jauhar should not have happened, but unfortunately, it did. The onus lies on the barbaric invaders who left those women with no other "viable" choice. Criticism of Jauhar should be focused on invaders who caused it, not on those who were forced to take this step.

मध्य प्रदेश के चिकित्सा शिक्षक अपनी मांगों को लेकर काली पट्टी बांधकर प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं और हड़ताल की चेतावनी दे रहे हैं।
प्रदेश में स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं की हालत पहले से ही ख़राब है। ऐसे में राज्य सरकार को आम जनता के हित में उनकी मांगों पर सहानुभूतिपूर्वक विचार करना चाहिये।
