Delete your account. Find a new profession. A young college kid drew inspiration from Jesus Christ in relation to his life’s current trials and tribulations, and you publicly minimized that for him. Pathetic tweet from a small man.
Nope. Your football team isn’t comparable to Jesus Christ.

Utah fan critical of local mission president because BYU 5 star QB is serving there. There’s really nothing like the BYU-Utah rivalry.
The UCF campus is in my ward boundaries so I have interest in the Orlando mission. The current mission president has created a terrible culture that has hurt local units. We had a conversation about this topic in our morning meetings today.

Slowly recovering enough to think about it again. I’m still confused about the final drive. After Bear’s keeper to get us out of the endzone, why didn’t BYU call timeout and then run a 2 min drill style offense? They let the clock run after 1st down. Why? My best guess is that BYU wanted to limit how much time UCF would have, if they end up punting. But then we ran it up the middle on 2nd and long, with a minute left. Weird, but okay, they’re just playing for overtime and are going to let the clock go down. But then BYU called timeout? So now the clock is stopped and we get one more play. 3rd and long. Surely a pass play! But BYU runs again? UCF calls the obvious timeout and BYU punts from the endzone with a minute left. I’ve never been a football coach. Can anyone explain what the objective was?

Yep. Exactly this.
The roughing call was terrible. But you can’t put yourself in the position for the refs to decide the game. Deserved to lose.

But shouldn’t the clock have kept running when they recovered the blocked kick? Clock would only stop on an incomplete pass or a 1st down. Why did it require a 10 second runoff for the game to be over?

One thing is clear— BYU can’t give UCF the ball at the end of the game with a chance to win. Unlike last week, the BYU defense has no answers and is unable to stop UCF in any situation

Well that solves it then
Having gone to both universities the university of Utah is a far better experience. I work in South America and gave up my season tickets for football after 20 years. Met my beautiful wife and funny part we were married by the state of Utah in Cusco online.

Walked my kids around campus today. We didn’t see any football players. Except one. Bear Bachmeier. He looked focused. Healthy. Happy. Cougs by 20.
