As we celebrate 150th foundation day of #BombayStockExchange, it reminds me story Shri @ashishchauhan the then MD of #BSE shared while presenting me the memorabilia of banyan tree under which it started. It was during launch of DrKurien's audiobook #TheManWhoMadeTheElephantDance
Reads like my story, only difference, you are faster, I started realizing & then arcing up on it as I come close to that sexy tag of Sr Citz status!
Curiosity & acceptance of ignorance makes life interesting 'Knowing' though may 'look' better, adds so much weight on us @c_assisi
अरे दोस्त दिल खुश कार दिया! You are truly Gabbar, loed it!

While I don't want to compare these two things, the salary of ISRO engineer should be much more that this, so the Chairman's woul be. . . whatever it takes, to be really high
Why just Vidarbha draught,it can solve many issues & make citizens' life much comfortable, the fundamental reason of being democretic. Alas, though we are the largest democracy, the maturity level has drastically getting reduced with every passing day

A language of distance! So true. Yet another lovely piece by @desaisantosh in today's @TOIIndiaNews
Though a crisper version would have been more impactful.

Until India develops, based on the talents of our own people, we will not find true respect in the world, no matter whether right, left or center is in charge anywhere.
The racist shows us a mirror and asks: "if your nation is smart, why do you want to come here". I do not hate him, I want to respond by building.
Some Indians agree with the racist and think India will never develop. I do not hate them either, I want to respond by building.
Companies and nations are built by people who believe it can be done.
The urgent national priority is to build, build and build.
@LoksattaLive
Absolutely stupendous! Every Indian is proud of you @ArcherSheetal Congratulations!

“I wanted to win gold for my mother.”
For Rinku Hooda, this gold was more than a medal. It was a promise to the mother he had lost.
She passed away on August 8, and the 27-year-old was still grieving when he returned to training. A shoulder injury had also disrupted his preparations. Yet, at the Asian Para Games 2026, he had one goal: to win gold for her.
And he did.
Rinku clinched the men's F46 javelin gold with a throw of 65.11 metres, edging fellow Indian Ajeet Singh by just 9 centimetres.
His journey has never been easy. At three, he lost his left arm in a farming accident. But he continued pursuing sport, eventually rising from school-level running competitions to international para-athletics.
After winning gold at the Youth Asian Games in 2015 and becoming a world champion in 2025, Rinku has added another milestone to his career.
This gold belongs to India, but its deepest meaning will always be personal. ❤️
