Well, Ali Baba had them forty thieves
Scheherazade had a thousand tales
But master you're in luck, cause up your sleeves
You got a brand of magic never fails
You got some power in your corner now
Some heavy ammunition in your camp
You got some punch, pizzazz, yahoo, and how?
See all you gotta do is rub that lamp, and I'll say
'Mister Aladdin, sir, what will your pleasure be?'
Sam Altman: “The first one is that we are close to creating a "genie" that can grant any wish”
Sam Altmanwas recently asked what the single most important thing to explain to the world about artificial intelligence is.
The first one is that we are close to creating a "genie" that can grant any wish (AGI)
The second point is to make sure that these wishes are broadly beneficial to humanity.
The third point is that the range of wishes is large and diverse.
And finally, the fourth point is when we start making wishes, and the computer grants them and we didn’t expect that it would be able to do that.

Dear US government,
Since you've just blocked Fable and Mythos on critical national security grounds, here are some other tools that pose a similar threat to the American people:
- Microsoft Teams
- SAP
- Salesforce
- Jira
- Outlook
Please do what you must to save America 🇺🇸
‼️🚨 BREAKING: Amazon researchers snitched to the US government about jailbreaking Fable 5 and Mythos 5, forcing Anthropic to immediately shut down worldwide access.
A security export control directive from Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick enforced the action.
Anthropic is fighting the directive and calls it a misunderstanding.
This isn't the first clash. The Trump administration had already tried to get Anthropic to pause the release of its latest models before this directive landed.
I'm on day 4. No news from @ATT except that they're "working on it". Nobody can give me an eta for a fix. I should have stayed with @Xfinity. This is what I get for chasing price. No support.
Yo @ATT my Internet has been out for 36 hours. Yesterday you said it would be fixed by 7pm, and then 1am, and now there is no estimated time to fix. What up? Are you actually gonna fix it?

Hogwarts houses but it's programming languages:
Gryffindor: Rust mass (mass evangelists, mass bravery, mass mass rewriting things that already work)
Ravenclaw: Haskell (nobody understands what they're doing, including them)
Hufflepuff: Python (loyal, hardworking, pip install everything)
Slytherin: JavaScript (will do anything to achieve its goals, has no morals, somehow runs the world)

Traditional software tests inputs vs. outputs. But with AI agents, you need to evaluate the whole system.

The plan? At dusk, 50 people went to San Francisco's longest dead-end street and all ordered a Waymo at the same time.
The world's first: WAYMO DDOS
This has been my experience. I can leverage my 25+ years of doing this stuff professionally and actually get reasonable output. I don't see a path to non-devs being able to get a reasonable output from any LLM.
It is just a tool not a silver bullet.
