With details now available, I'm sharing this story to express my disgust at the tolerance in Australia for desecrating anything and everything Christian. The hatred has festered and swelled for decades against Catholics, until the puss has finally burst through the scab. ⬇️⬇️
Dramatic footage has emerged of people running for safety after a man allegedly flipped a large Christian cross upside down and broke six angel statues at a south Sydney Catholic Church religious memorial garden. (1 of 2) Police were called to St Joseph’s Rockdale Primary school on Parker Street, Rockdale, after reports of malicious damage to gardens attached to the school grounds at 2:40pm on Monday. CCTV vision after the incident shows the man walking on the footpath parallel to the school after allegedly destroying the memorial garden at St Joseph’s Catholic Church. The man briefly entered the school’s open side gate before exiting and fleeing the scene. About half a minute later, what appears to be a crowd of parents and school staff rush towards the school before shutting the gate closed. Police confirmed in a statement that “a man had entered a garden attached to the school grounds and destroyed Christmas decorations, flowers, pots and a statue”. While the man left the location before police arrived, authorities arrested a 22-year-old man later that day at 5pm on Regent Street, Kogarah. St Joseph Catholic Parish Priest, Yacub Barkat told The Daily Telegraph, the destruction of the gardens has “damaged” the hearts of parishioners. He said he heard the young 22-year-old yelling towards the school after he left the memorial gardens. It is also understood the children were inside the school while the property was being damaged. “We should respect all religious places. If we destroy even one leaf (of the gardens) that matters to us because of our emotions. I don’t want to be hurt”. “The whole community was hurt, especially our young children. What are we showing to our children?,” the priest said. The gardens included two holy crosses, dedicated to the departed souls of parishioners, alongside a memorial garden with dozens of roses for Mother Mary, Mr Barkat told the Telegraph. “Emotionally we are attached to it, we have planted it in the loving memory of our dear ones … many people in the evening come and sit here (the gardens) and pray here”. “We blessed this place in honour of Mother Mary”. “By the grace of God we are all good — but it is not the damage of the things, it is the damage of the heart”. Member for Rockdale Steve Kamper and Minister for Multiculturalism in NSW said it was “upsetting and disappointing” to see the damage. “St Joseph’s wonderful school and church grounds are a special part of the local community. The gardens hold particular meaning for parishioners and families, with crosses dedicated to loved ones who have passed away, while providing a peaceful place for people to reflect and pray. “It is upsetting and disappointing to see this damage, particularly given the personal meaning the gardens and displays hold for so many. “Rockdale is a proud multicultural and multifaith community. Our strength comes from people of different faiths and backgrounds living together, respecting one another and looking out for each other. The gardens were swiftly repaired by parishioners who have replaced the broken lights and replanted broken roses. The young man who allegedly removed the crosses and damaged the gardens was taken to Kogarah Police Station and charged with destroying or damaging property less than and equal to $2000. He was given conditional bail to appear before Sutherland Local Court on Tuesday 15 December 2026. Online videos have circulated social media, with thousands of views and hundreds of comments condemning the attack on the Christian school and church. St Joseph’s Catholic Church said they “strongly condemn” the incident and are calling for Christian communities to be ensured safety. “We are deeply shocked and saddened by the unacceptable vandalism at St Joseph’s Church, Rockdale”. “Our community deserves safety, respect and protection. We stand united with St Joseph’s Church, its school, families and parishioners,” the church said in statement.

The Queen got into the spirit of the Caribbean as she enjoyed the entertainment provided by The Princess Margaret School’s steel pan band. Her Majesty also met young writers taking part in The Queen’s Commonwealth Writing Competition, and saw some of the sports trophies for which the school is renowned.

Elections matter. Please vote for change in Victoria at these State Elections Nov2026. Perhaps Vic Police may then have some definitions and clarity; and the judicial process act to protect victims, not mollycoddle perpetrators. I feel sick at this! ⬇️⬇️⬇️

The claim that managing the nuclear waste from AUKUS will cost $180bn is absolute rubbish. AUKUS will generate a tiny amount of used nuclear fuel. This estimate is based on the 120 year cost of a facility that would have managed 13% of global used nuclear fuel.

In Victoria, when language and reality have been bastardised beyond recognition, it is time for drastic change at the Ballot Box. State Elections Nov2026 matter. Bring reality, common sense and justice back to Victoria. We need it! ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Just In: The police now say the Torquay Attack wasn’t politically motivated The alleged attackers just happened travel 100km from home to rip down political posters And just happened to allegedly beat a man unconscious for no reason They just happened to allegedly chase him back in to his house with bleeding on the brain before allegedly smashing his car with a crow bar Just like the attack on a Hanukkah celebrations by Islamic extremists that killed 15 people was not religiously motivated - according to police

South Australians support nuclear power. Rising electricity demand in the state means all clean energy options should be on the table. The federal nuclear prohibitions must be lifted so nuclear can be assessed on its merits. ⚛️ Take Action lifttheban.com.au

It was my honour to meet our Victorian volunteer who was allegedly attacked after having One Nation signs in his backyard. His injuries are serious and he has long road to recovery ahead. I want to thank everyone who has supported him and his family by raising a quarter of a million dollars for him. Guess what he said when I met him? He wants to get home to put his signs back up. What a trooper. But this is the kind of violence that Victorians are having to deal with every day as well as a court system that treats bail as a catch and release program. Criminals who are here on a visa should be rounded up and sent home. Australians are sick of their safety being put second.

💜 Thank you @OneNationTas Women Speak Tasmania thanks One Nation Tasmania for making the recognition of biological reality one of its core principles. Principle 11: Respect Biological Reality “Uphold biological sex as a scientific fact to protect sex-based rights and sports, and keep sexual identity out of primary school classrooms.” We welcome this clear commitment to recognising biological sex, protecting women's and girls' sex-based rights and ensuring that primary school education remains age-appropriate. These are important issues that deserve honesty, clarity and leadership. Thank you, One Nation Tasmania, for making this a core principle. 💜 Women Speak Tasmania
