The shifting explanations from Musk and the administration sound like Abbott and Costello’s “Who’s on First?” Except the consequences for Ukrainian civilians are deadly.
Musk says he didn’t do it. The administration says it didn’t either. Yet someone in the administration reportedly told Musk to undo it, and Ukraine reports only partial restoration.
Are we supposed to believe Hegseth and the Pentagon don’t know the status of a capability critical to U.S., Ukrainian and allied security?
Whoever is handing Putin the gift of a more vulnerable Ukraine should at least have the guts to put their name on it. Hiding behind denials while innocent people pay the price is cowardice.
Meanwhile, Putin keeps murdering civilians and trying to starve and freeze Ukraine into submission. Americans deserve answers. Ukrainians deserve the means to defend themselves.

Reading this and thinking about the photos of Ukrainian emergency responders pulling the bodies of Ukrainian children out of rubble this week.
Money to Russia now helps fund more weapons to slam into apartment buildings, more missiles to hit bus stops, schools, hospitals...
Trump: "I have just concluded a highly successful discussion with President Vladimir Putin, of Russia, wherein it was agreed that Russia will immediately supply over 300,000 Tons of Diesel Fuel to the American and Global Marketplace, another 500,000 Tons during the month of November, and 1,000,000 Tons immediately thereafter. Additionally, based on the condition of their Diesel Refineries, Russia will then deliver, within a short period of time, 3,000,000 Tons of Diesel Fuel."

Estonia might be a tiny country, but they know they're next in line if Ukraine falls.
Since 2022, they've dedicated a staggering 2-3% of their GDP to aid to Ukraine.
Russia's neighbors know it best. We should listen to them.

Read the whole rundown.
Russian intel officers were preparing an assassination of a DC-based Russian opposition figure.
@christogrozev, “this is the first fully documented attempt of Russian intelligence to murder someone ON US territory.”
Russia keeps getting bolder.
Another major GRU/FSB blunder, on par with the Google Translate fiasco. And another win for the FBI.

I just want to make it clear. This wasn’t run of the mill “we will increase your pensions” type of ad. This was a full-blown justification of the war against Ukraine. The same one that is killing babies in hospitals. Utterly shameful @Capitals
In response to Alex Ovechkin appearing in a campaign commercial for United Russia, the Capitals have issued the following statement to multiple outlets:

ALT “Alex Ovechkin is a Russian citizen who lives in Moscow with his family during the offseason and will live there following his retirement. As the longest-tenured athlete in Washington, D.C., and a pillar of the community, his focus and ours is on the season ahead and the continued impact he makes on the ice and in our city.”

Disgusting statement by the @Capitals
BREAKING:
Washington Capital have issued a statement on Ovechkin participating in a propaganda video with Sergei Lavrov and Margarita Simonyan which defends Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The team says Ovechkin is a Russian citizen who was asked to participate in a video campaign and that he’a the longest-tenured athlete in Washington.
Apparently his long tenure means that it’s ok that hundreds of thousands Ukrainians have been killed…
The NFL was asked to comment on Ovechkin’s video but deferred to the Washington Capitals.
