We talk about men’s mental health more now than ever, trying to break the “man up” stigma. And then you have dinosaurs like McAvennie who think it’s “woke” to take time off for your dad’s death. FFS. I hope Trusty takes all the time he needs and has the best support 💚
Fucking hell Frank, brutal talking about Auston Trusty taking time off after the death of his father

The BBC showing the Milan derby, reminding all us millennials how good we used to have it. Sunday afternoons Serie A on Channel 4. Then Champions League on ITV on a Wednesday. Those were the days.

I’m sorry, but every 50/50 decision the traitors have had to make, they’ve chosen the wrong one. James over Amol, recruiting Hannah rather than murdering her, murdering Sharon rather than Michael. #CelebrityTraitors

In this series, the traitors have made a whole host of stupid decisions. But not murdering Michael was their biggest mistake. What were they thinking going with Sharon instead (who at least had a link to the library/murder in plain sight)

If we’re rating the UK traitors series in order, this is 5 out of 6. Only series 3 has been worse #CelebrityTraitors

Thoroughly enjoyed the celeb version of #potterythrowdown Everyone involved so lovely. We got an extra series of Keith and Rich. And in Liza Tarbuck we’ve found the perfect host.

Look at that smile 💚 It’s been a long 18 months. What a moment.
💚 “Great to see him back, it really is!” Jota comes on for his 100th Celtic appearance and his first in 18 months ⤵️

I feel like the most logical thing when 2 players come down for breakfast who were up for murder, is to suspect at least 1 of them is a traitor. But sure, go for Myha’la. Also, Hannah being shady over the shield at the round table didn’t look good #celebritytraitors

Ok, that new Jade track for Blue Planet blows everything else out the water (pun intended) Epic, she’s never sounded better.

Still can’t get over that England Croatia score. And the fact they’ve traumatised a whole generation of school kids 😭😂😭

Will Best outfit week 1: tiny vest top and leather trousers. Week 2: open shirt and shorts. Thank you Vicky Gill 😍 #strictly

I wish people would give the new #strictly presenters a chance. Claudia didn’t become a national treasure over night. She has been in the entertainment industry for decades. She’s honed her craft to be an incredible presenter who makes it look effortless. It’s week 2 people.

We’ve just been to our first World Cup since 98. Numerous players are playing for top teams in Italy/Spain. Last seasons league was the most exciting title race in years. We are the best supported league in Europe per capita. But yeah, we’re in the doldrums 🙄🙄 Piss off.
The game in Scotland has slumped to its lowest ebb. @LukeEdwardsTele explains why ⬇️ 💰 Financial strain 🏃🚪 Talent drain 🇬🇧👋🇪🇺 Brexit poaching ❌ Botched youth development 🔐 Old Firm short-termism 🔗: telegraph.co.uk/football/202…

💯 this
Replying to @JacquiOatley
Especially galling because it relies on the belief that that individual is the only one allowed to do it. If everyone just played what they were listening to out loud nobody would heat anything. It only works on that individual’s assumption that they’re special. Drives me nuts.

This winds me up on public transport so much. When did it become the norm not to wear headphones? If I forget my headphones, I don’t listen to my music, simple as that. But then again, I have manners and am considerate to others, which seems to be in the minority nowadays.
On a packed train with my family. Couple across the aisle both alternatively playing social media videos on speakers at full volume. Managed not to say anything until the woman started playing a documentary about serial killers. I'm here with my daughter. I politely said "please could you turn it down it's not appropriate." To which she replied "I'm sure she's heard worse at school." I said that really wasn't her call to make and in general could she please reduce the volume. Her response "Its a public train for heavens sake". For me that's exactly why it is anti social (and what headphones were invented for). I'm wondering which one of us is out of kilter on this? Ps I should note she did thankfully reduce the volume and we all left it there.

I don’t understand why the other 8 players who voted against the match haven’t walked either. Black armbands aren’t going to fix this. Gavin Bazunu did the right thing.

I’m not going to hate on Josh or JoJo, as I think Josh was actually good & I love JoJo (but wish he was still dancing) But, we don’t need 3 presenters & we certainly don’t need 2 downstairs. Emma would do a brilliant job on her own & then it should have been Zoe Ball #strictly
