Extremely disappointed to see @ebottcher on this list.
District 3 made it loud and clear - we want Zohran Mamdani to succeed. Why support the only speaker candidate who's hostile towards him?

+1 to Ultimate Vocal Remover. The Mac version is a little buggy but the results are solid.

To let these ridiculous smears go unchallenged like this βyou should lose your job tomorrow @SenGillibrand - shame on you and your racist xenophobic white feminism.
Replying to @Ruth_Mensch @lukaske
Gillibrand was practically screaming at Lehrer - who is Jewish! - when he tried to correct her. She doesn't actually care what Jews think.
She has the gall to say she's concerned about "public safety" under Mamdani, then repeat the same racist and slanderous rhetoric that routinely gets PoC attacked?
There is only one person there engaging in rhetoric that incites violence, and that person is @SenGillibrand.
And at no point did @SenGillibrand express any concern for how the language SHE used would make Muslims and PoC feel. As a constituent who has been the victim of racist and Islamophobic violence, what Gillibrand said makes ME less safe.
Replying to @chimeracoder @lukaske
.@SenGillibrand used racist language to demonize a member of her own party, then yelled at the Jewish man and goysplained antisemitism to him. At no point did she stop to listen to the actual Jewish person in sitting in front of her.

Is this meant to be an apology? As a constituent, I am disgusted. Gillibrand used what is functionally a racial slur on air, then insinuated that Mamdani is affiliated with Hamas.
She can't lecture Zohran about being careful with his words when she's this sloppy with her own.

Hey Rich, I know we've had our disagreements over the years, but I'm actually concerned about you at this point.
If you are in NYC, just know that you can dial 988 anytime to speak to a mental health counselor, 24/7. π

You said the n-word on live radio and then said you had no regrets.
Posting about Juneteenth when your racism is on full display is hypocritical and shameful.
@bradhoylman I tried calling the district and Albany offices and couldn't get through even to leave a voicemail. Is there a statement about this, as the chair of the Judiciary Committee?
I'm trying to find a recent statement from @bradhoylman about Andrew Cuomo's sexual misconduct. I'm finding a lot of statements from 2021 demanding that Cuomo resign, but nothing since March of this year.
Is there a recent statement about Cuomo, who's running for office again?
This was rolled out to all users overnight, with no opt-out and no accessibility settings to restore the functionality they removed. Email is critical infrastructure, and the whole point of paying for it is the expectation that things won't suddenly break overnight!
@Fastmail
The new @Fastmail UI is an accessibility disaster. Removing all visual separation between messages is a terrible decision. Companies really need to stop glorifying visual aesthetic to the point where they sacrifice usability!

Why did the plaintiffs agree to a delay to allow her extra time to prepare? I don't remember us ever getting an answer on that

Unfortunately this only works for general elections. In primary elections, the party can approve or challengers and can cancel the election entirely.
In many races in NY, the primary is the "real" election, which is why that matters
