Being a physician isn’t just getting to doctor the patient. You have to doctor every single person around you just to try to get something done right for the one person who paid to get your care, the patient. It’s endless hazard avoidance and placating all these people around you who want to play doctor and think they can doctor after dedicating a fraction of their time or lives to it, combine that with zero respect for the medical hierarchy, and you get a pretty shitty work environment.

The robot goes have excellent optics and in cases like this, the wristed instruments allow for sewing and tying that is much easier than a standard laparoscopic case.
