You can make your dream game, but you have to use AI because you don't have the money, or time to learn the skills to do it. Do you do it?

Because we have no choice if you wanna be a surgeon and save lives the government pays $250k/resident and you get to see 60k/yr of it for 5 years. It's literally a scam.

Truth nuke surgery residents work 100h/wk for 5 years
I'm not saying residents should be paid like attendings. I'm saying the math deserves to be said out loud.
$66,712 divided by roughly 3,380 hours a year is about $20 an hour, before taxes and before the student loans keep growing in the background.
If you're in training right now: your income will change. Your habits won't unless you decide they will.

60k/yr (pgy3 resident salary at my plafe) 100 hrs a week (average) is like 9ish dollars

That's the price you pay to be a surgeon. You get paid $9/hr for 5 years and then you're a general surgeon. It's how the residency system works in the US. You get paid $60k/yr and work 100 hrs a week.
