Everyone gets those. It’s to see if the number is active at mass scale.

And yeah, I know it's an active feature request in Mermaid. And I know the architecture type exists. Not the same.

Way cool, but it kills me that none of these libraries seems to have a good network topology (star?) algorithm for wide area networks.
This is Pele, my new rendering library for diagrams and charts, compatible with the latest Mermaid syntax. - 100-500× faster than mermaid.js - 6× smaller bundle - No dependencies - Easy to theme - Responsive to device width In pursuit of making Obsidian insanely fast and cohesively designed, I always found the Mermaid library to be too big, too slow, and too hard to theme. Pele will be the new renderer in the next version of Obsidian, but you can start using it now. Pele [ˈpɛlɛ] is named after the goddess of volcanoes and fire. It's open source under the MIT license. Try the playground!

New: I got a tip a little while ago about a shadowy Pentagon entity called "TSO" with a lot of money and a desire for offensive hacking tools. Turns out TSO is a new DoD agency. And it does a lot more than hacking. w/@JackDetsch and @paulmcleary politico.com/news/2026/10/22…

The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. What MIVD discovered was that Kushner had access to two bank accounts --one Azerbaijani, the other Israeli --where Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emirati ruler Mohammed bin Zayed deposited money. It sounds like a slightly far-fetched episode of "Slow Horses," but it's real. And it proves just how eye-poppingly corrupt this administration was and continues to be as its "special envoy" decides the fate of tens of millions in Europe in the Middle East. Simply incredible reporting by Matthew Cole, drawn from his new book on Kushner. vanityfair.com/story/jared-k…

I suspect that pretty much everyone who is fervently anti-gay has internal struggles with it, and is projecting. And this included LadyG. The people who aren't don't really think about it much.

Guilty as charged. But after reading more about CA audits (which eMudhra underwent), I think my concerns are more about the effectiveness of the CA audits themselves. This seems like the biggest area for improvement going forward?

Which part? Model size or tokens/sec? It's kind of cost-prohibitive to get increases that's worth the money. But, of course, it depends on what kind of money (spoiler: crazy lots) you're willing to throw at it.

Whoop is a low IQ scam designed to extract regular revenue from the well-off. There, I said it. (You don't need a subscription for the actual stats that matter. The scoring is cosplay.)

It looks like it's the "Capture Claude" one from this Stephen Robles video, but I have two modified versions: one that uses ChatGPT and the other that uses Apple Intelligence. youtube.com/watch?v=CPfL-qHP…

I’m seriously considering forking iTerm2 just so I can change it from “Split Horizontally” to something that I can actually remember, such as “Split Down” like Ghostty.

This stuff. 2-3 of these are modified versions of @stephenrobles shortcuts from his videos. Clipboard Manager, Capture (which is awesome), and I think Quick Voice Memo.
