“Tinubu did his campaign in Kaduna and instead of him to explain to Nigerians what he did with all the billions he borrowed, he chose to blame the opposition for the poverty he created. Tinubu does not have the energy to solve Nigerian problems, he Must Go Home!”

This year alone, I was interviewed at the World Bank, UNICEF, and WMO and in every single interview, the conversation came back to the story in my cover letter.
One interviewer at UNICEF told me:
“I connected deeply with your story. That is exactly the kind of people we are looking for at UNICEF — people with lived experience.”
Another said:
“I’m so sorry to hear you missed school due to flooding. Tell me more about the scale of that impact.”

I’ve been testing one of the laptop samples we’re giving out for the NYSC scholarship. There have been a lot of delays, but we should notify the selected winners soon 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼.
We also had to read every single application one by one, so that took time.

Thanks to our laptop sponsor, @Bluebulb_UK 🙏🏼

A moving man meets his luck. Sat in Transcorp piano bar yesterday, randomly overhead an executive complaining about a service from a company we work with. Approached and helped troubleshoot the problem while also informing the company. Now we're in position to grow the account.

Dear @inecnigeria can you explain why you have AI Generated images on the INEC Register in polling units in Ward 11, Etsako West LG, Edo State.
We want explanation.
Who infused AI generated images in the register?
who did the capturing?
Who collected their pvcs if they have been collected?
We want answers!!!!!

I have a question
what would you do if someone created exactly what you were building in stealth,
And they already had a good headstart after launching?

Hosted the @yabatechng NACOS team at @AltSchoolAfrica’s building yesterday.
8 years ago, I served as NACOS President while I was in school, so it was really great to catch up with my fellow exco members.
We had a great conversation about education, the CS curriculum, and what the next steps should be. And most importantly, how AltSchool can be a useful tool for students during SIWES and IT.
Looking forward to hosting more students and schools.
Thanks to @_Teggyg_ and @coderhema for setting this up.

Feature idea: show weekly usage per bot. I run 6 bots, and Usage only shows one shared pool, so when I'm near my limit I can't tell which bot is burning it. A simple breakdown (bot → % of the week, plus its top routines/tasks) would let me pause the greedy one instead of guessin

After 5 years of building @AltSchoolAfrica with @AdewaleYusuf_ and @opeawo, today I’m officially stepping down as CTO and moving into the CEO role.
The goal is to provide global education to Africans at an affordable cost. Instead of going to the UK and spending £30,000 to get a degree, you can attend the same university through AltSchool for less than £15,000.
Same school, same lecturers, same BSc.
Equal value. Equal access. Local pricing.
I’m officially launching our degree programmes on degree.altschoolafrica.com, and over the next few months, you’ll see more global universities join the AltSchool network.
Welcome to the edX of Africa.
