🚨 Kobbie Mainoo is back available for Man United, confirms Michael Carrick.
“He’s returned to training so that’s obviously a very good news for us to have Kobbie back”.
Sancho if you don’t want 8k a week, I’ll take it, honestly
🚨🚨| Getafe are disappointed after Jadon Sancho 𝐑𝐄𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐃 them, personally telling the club's president he won't join. ❌🇪🇸
Sancho wanted at least €3m per year, while Getafe's initial offer was €400k.

Bring back the art of one-twos but more emphasis on diagonalism and unlocking gates within games
Don't think the 'pass & move' game has ever been so important than it is today. It feels like every good team, at the moment, is class at rotating positions, running off markers and finding spaces. You hear 'wide triangles' a lot but what makes them effective is the mobility within the rotation. It's one of the main reasons I think Brighton have been so good this season too.
Replying to @saundzo
I think it generally comes down to background. On average, English players grow up in more comfortable conditions than players from developing countries. That's not to say every English player has had it easy, but as a whole they have more support around them. Because of that, they often haven't had to build the same resilience when things go wrong. For many players from elsewhere, football is their only real way to a better life for themselves and their families, so they tend to develop self-belief and toughness out of necessity. It's really about opportunity cost. If an English player fails or struggles to adapt, he generally still has a safety net (somewhat). For a player from somewhere like Burkina Faso, the stakes are usually much higher. Failing might mean going back to very little. That pressure pushes him to be more proactive about overcoming adversity, while English players may, on average, need more of an arm around the shoulder to get through difficult spells. My thoughts though

Another example of why Mourinho's Madrid was better than Barca.
They knew the better solution when they can't do what they want.
Not idealists, but pure realists.

Müller was who I expected Donny van de Beek to become. The next Raumdeuter.
Did his best work at Ajax around the penalty box & we stuck him in the pivot. 😂✌️
Another victim on the list of players at Man United that got misused & managers had 0 idea how to utilise them.
‘Natural talent’ is more uncoachable attributes developed from young. They’re still in need of refining don’t get it twisted but I wouldn’t necessarily say it ‘just aesthetics’

(Maybe I’m waffling)
For example; Aaron Wan-Bissaka not great aesthetically in everything but since tackling is an attribute in football, he always had it in him without it needing refining (the physical tackling details itself)
