Over time agents will reduce friction in commerce and increase merchants’ sales. Now we’re giving back some of those sales to the agent developers. When you use Crossmint Agent Checkout, your agent earns you cash back. DM me, @0xaguspunk or @alexsrawitz to get started
Agent builders can now make money on agentic commerce. Agents that check out with Crossmint earn commission on the purchases they make. We partnered with @channel3_ai to add affiliate attribution to Agent Checkouts. Building an AI assistant that shops? Talk to us.

Want your app's AI assistant to buy things on store websites for your users? Start with one prompt. Paste it into Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex. Your coding assistant asks how your users pay, proposes a plan, and adds the checkout once you say OK. docs.crossmint.com/agents/ag…

This only happens if you are issuing a virtual card in a system like Stripe Link. If you use something like @Crossmint_AI, you allow users to bring their own card, which results in lower fees
Why does your AI agent pay the highest card fees in payments? > your agent can't use your debit card, it gets a virtual card > that card is issued to a company (the agent startup), not to you > so visa and mastercard classify it as "commercial" > commercial cards carry the highest interchange: ~2.5-3% > and unlike debit, there's no regulatory cap on it result: a $100 purchase costs the merchant $2.80 instead of $0.27 the issuer and the agent startup split that fee. that's their business model That's a massive problem for merchants once agents start buying at scale. One fix already exists: wallet + stablecoins + x402.

Your users can verify a card in a modal that looks like your app. Your fonts, spacing, colors, and border radius, or set only an accent and a background color and the SDK derives the rest. docs.crossmint.com/agents/pa…

At @crossmint we've been building around agentic payments since Nov 2024. Given our customer base across fintechs and neobanks, it's only logical that we start to serve those neobanks agentic commerce tooling as well, especially as large fintech incumbents like Robinhood and Coinbase rollout AI assitants. The products are pretty simple. With Crossmint you can give agents access to: - Cards - Wallets and stables - Purchasing (through a checkout API) Since many neobanks already provide the first two items to customers, it's really easy to provide a new agent access in a controlled manner. For cards, the neobank can forward the card details to our secure vault, where it is accessible to the agent. For wallets, the neobank can provide a scoped signer to the agent. Then you add our Checkouts API and voilà, your agent is shopping for you. So what are neobanks doing with this? One of the best usecases I like is an agent that can see your spend and help proactively handle it, whether that is managing budget or re-ordering items. We're helping a number of companies launch products like this soon, one of the first of which will be @PulsarMoneyApp (see more in the tweet below) xitter.cf/PulsarMoneyApp/status/…
who’s building the Instinct/Muse/GrokBot equivalent but as infra for neobanks? there are 500+ neobanks all fighting to become the primary place consumers spend money. one way to differentiate could be an AI agent that can actually do things IRL: > order my usual Uber Eats for pickup > pay my electricity bill > book me the cheapest flight to Miami > find and cancel subscriptions I don’t use > dispute this charge for me imo almost no neobank is going to build this properly in house. the tech is improving too quickly and neobanks already have enough complexity to deal with across the banking stack. building and improving a personal AI agent would basically be another company inside the company. which opens up a pretty obvious opportunity for an infra player to build this once and make it available through a simple API/SDK. but the product has to go far beyond basic “AI for banking” features like reading transactions, moving money, or off-ramping USDC. it should actually be able to complete real world tasks on the user’s behalf, the same way products like Instinct work. Instinct reported that on average their users are spending $1,300+ per month. so for a neobank the ROI is obvious: > more card spend (more revenue) > higher retention > stronger differentiation who’s building the personal AI agent infra for neobanks? massive opportunity.
