You can just tell when an animator absolutely loves drawing - a quality that has gotten increasingly undervalued in our medium, and something Quinn has always managed to pull off in spades.

Chuck Jones is a fascinating director because with the same mind that he formed some of the greatest cartoons ever made, he also made some of the most obnoxiously pretentious and/or abysmally tedious shorts Warner has to offer. All of these are the same dude!!

No edit competes with the sheer hilarity of the original clip.

Sorry buddy you're an adult now your options for friendship are the most annoying people in existence or people that will only get lunch with you if scheduled a month in advance or people 2000 miles away

I love 12 Angry Men now, but I never would’ve sought it out before college. I grew up convinced of the notion that non-animated golden era cinema was going to be boring and outdated. Jump to today and many of my most favorite films are over 50 years old, if not nearly 100!

You guys have to understand that a stop-motion animated film has never been made on THIS scale and I don’t think we will see something like this again for a long time.
Wildwood is shaping up to be an instant animated classic and I cannot wait to see it on the big screen.

This is gonna fund so many awesome things. Couldn't be happier this is happening because everyone wins. Fans of this get a spectacular deluxe physical release and Criterion will get hella money from it to keep restoring old films and spreading the word on underseen gems
