The AI boom has a $370 BILLION question nobody wants to answer.
Five tech giants. Over $370 billion in bonds issued this year.
Wall Street is pouring money into the AI race.
But here's the uncomfortable part:
AI could change the world — and still leave investors with billions in losses.
The technology doesn't have to fail for the financial bet to go wrong.
So who's taking the risk? And what happens if the profits never catch up?
I followed the money.
The full breakdown ↓
🇯🇵 JAPAN ENTERS BEAR MARKET TERRITORY. WORST WEEK IN SIX YEARS. IS THIS THE BEGINNING OF A GLOBAL AI MARKET REPRICING?
Japan’s stock market has just experienced one of its most dramatic weekly declines in recent years.
On November 6, the Nikkei 225 plunged 5.96%, shedding more than 3,600 points to close at 57,434.77.
For the week, the index lost approximately 9.3% — its worst weekly performance since March 2020.
More importantly, the index has fallen more than 20% from its June record high, meeting the traditional definition of a bear market.
What triggered the sell-off?
1. The AI reality check
Investors are reassessing the enormous valuations and capital expenditure behind artificial intelligence, data centers, and semiconductor companies.
2. US political uncertainty
Concerns about potential regulatory changes and the future direction of the AI industry have added pressure to technology stocks.
3. Contagion from Wall Street
The sell-off in US technology shares spread rapidly across Asian markets, amplifying losses in Japan.
4. The domino effect
Japanese technology companies, including major players in the semiconductor ecosystem, came under significant selling pressure.
Why should global investors care?
Japan plays a strategic role in the global semiconductor supply chain, providing critical materials, equipment, and components.
At the same time, volatility has spread across other Asian technology markets.
This is no longer just a Japanese market story.
It may signal a broader reassessment of the global technology boom.
What should investors watch next?
Can the Nasdaq stabilize?
Will capital continue flowing out of AI-related stocks?
Will investors rotate into defensive assets?
Could this correction develop into a broader global market downturn?
My key takeaway:
The market is not abandoning artificial intelligence.
It is starting to ask a much tougher question:
How much is the AI revolution actually worth — and when will the massive investments begin delivering sustainable returns?
That is often the moment when market euphoria ends and the real valuation test begins.
What do you think: a temporary correction in an overheated AI sector, or the beginning of a much larger market r
🚨 SHAQ BLEW $1M IN ONE DAY. THIS WEEK A TRADER BLEW $15.6M IN MINUTES
Thursday. Wall Street sells off, crypto follows.
One wallet on Hyperliquid gets liquidated 8 times in a row.
201 BTC. Gone.
His next move: a $2.68M short on TRUMP.
He wasn't alone.
209,826 traders got liquidated in 24 hours. $1.08B wiped.
Now rewind to 1992.
20-year-old Shaq gets a $1M check.
Same day: three Mercedes, jewelry, a suit for draft night.
He forgot agent fees and taxes. What actually landed: ~$700K.
Days later the bank calls: –$80,000.
Different decades. Same mistake:
spending money you don't actually have.
For Shaq it was taxes. For the trader it was leverage.
Shaq hired a business manager. Today he's worth an estimated $500M.
What's the biggest liquidation you've ever taken?
🚨 MEXC JUST GOT CUT OFF FROM THE US DOLLAR
Today FinCEN banned every US bank from moving money to or from MEXC.
What's in the order:
• $16B+ in illicit flows (May 2021 – May 2026)
• ~$1.5B tied to Russian sanctions evasion
• ~$1B in direct transfers with 40+ Iranian exchanges
• ~$22M linked to Iran's central bank and the IRGC Quds Force
It kicks in 30 days after publication in the Federal Register.
4 years ago this week, FTX was a $32B exchange.
Then trust cracked. About $6B left in 72 hours.
Nov 11, 2022: bankruptcy. Sam Bankman-Fried later got 25 years.
The stories are different.
FTX gambled with customer money.
No one is accusing MEXC of that. Withdrawals still work.
But FTX wasn't killed by regulators. It was killed by a bank run.
And in July 2025, one frozen account was enough to spike BTC withdrawals from MEXC 30x.
Would you keep your funds on MEXC tonight?
🚨 THIS WILL BE THE BIGGEST MARKET CRASH IN HISTORY
The warning signs are impossible to ignore.
1999 → Dot-com bubble → -78%
2007 → Housing bubble → -50%
2026 → AI bubble → -80%?
Different eras.
Different bubbles.
Same ending.
Every time, people believed every dip is for buying and the rally would last forever.
Every time, reality caught up.
Keep in mind:
I’ve spent 10+ years studying markets and calling tops and bottoms.
My next call will be posted here first.

💰 $847 MILLION LOTTERY WINNER: A LIFE-CHANGING JACKPOT!
A New Jersey resident has become the winner of an incredible $847 million Powerball jackpot — the 9th-largest prize in the lottery’s history! 🇺🇸
The winning ticket was sold at an ordinary supermarket in Montvale, New Jersey.
The winner now faces a major financial decision:
$363.1 MILLION CASH OPTION — receive the money as a lump sum before taxes.
$847 MILLION ANNUITY — receive the full advertised jackpot in payments over 29 years.
For comparison, the largest Powerball jackpot ever was $2.04 billion, won by a single ticket holder in California in 2022.
THE FINANCIAL TAKEAWAY
Winning millions doesn’t automatically guarantee long-term financial freedom.
A lump-sum payment offers immediate access to capital and the opportunity to invest it. An annuity provides structured payments over time and can help manage long-term spending.
But the real question isn’t just how much money you win — it’s how wisely you manage it.
What would you choose: $363.1 million today or $847 million over 29 years?

→ Axios:

Separately, Reuters reports about 600,000 Nvidia H200 chips are sitting in Hong Kong, waiting for Beijing to approve imports.
The real risk now: investors are betting the AI data-center buildout will face more scrutiny and less federal support. A handful of chip stocks make up a big part of tech-heavy index funds, so their swings hit ordinary portfolios too.
If you own a Nasdaq-100 fund: check how much of it is in chip stocks before reacting to one day.

The bank didn't get hacked. Its supplier did. And that's becoming the pattern.
Crédit Mutuel Arkéa says attackers reached its systems through a third-party provider's platform. Reported loss: roughly $133M.
Same month, same move:
• Convertr: a shared analytics script was hijacked to skim card data at checkout
• Warp: AI agent logs exposed through an attack on a third-party vendor
• FBI: intrusion traced to a contractor that hadn't applied an available patch
Companies lock down their own apps. Attackers go for the partner with weaker locks.
The question no one has answered yet: which provider was it, and which other banks use it?
A French bank just blocked customer transfers after a reported $133M theft.
No, it's not "Covid for banks." Here's what's actually confirmed.
Crédit Mutuel Arkéa is a French banking group. It also owns the online bank Fortuneo.
What the bank confirmed:
• A cyberattack
• Some transfers in its apps are temporarily suspended
• "No financial consequence" for customers
• Transfers will resume once checks are done
What the bank has NOT confirmed:
• The $133M (~€118M). That number comes from on-chain investigator ZachXBT
What the blockchain shows:
• Withdrawals over ~21 hours on Nov 1–2, routed through crypto exchanges
• $62.98M in stablecoins swapped into 27,553 ETH
• Kraken and Crypto.com say they restricted linked accounts
The other stories in this thread are separate incidents. No one has linked them to a single attacker. Seven headlines isn't one attack.
The real risk now: blocked transfers are perfect bait. Expect calls and texts "from your bank" asking you to unlock a transfer or confirm a code.
If you bank with Arkéa or Fortuneo: your bank won't call asking for codes. Use only the official app.
🚨 BREAKING: Hackers are hitting the world's money system in 7 places at the same time.
This is what Covid looked like in week 1. A few banks. A few apps. Nobody called it a crisis.
1/ France: more than €118 million (about $133 million) was pulled out of Crédit Mutuel Arkéa over several days and turned into crypto. Today its app was down and EVERY transfer was blocked. The bank says customers lose nothing.
2/ Belgium: on October 28, the federal finance ministry said a cyberattack hit it. The online tax portal was SHUT and tax deadlines will be pushed back.
3/ Eurozone: on October 22, the European Central Bank, the bank behind the euro, confirmed that attackers planted malware on one of its websites.
4/ South Korea: at least 9 banks targeted since late September by an attacker using an AI hacking agent. At Shinhan Bank alone, about 25,000 customers had their names, phone numbers, incomes and loan limits exposed.
5/ Japan: hackers broke into GMO Internet and demanded $50 million in crypto. The prime minister promised an emergency anti-cyberattack package.
6/ At least 14 countries: China-linked hackers used AI agents to attack 200+ organisations in just 11 days. Finance was on the target list.
7/ Crypto: more than $6 billion drained from Binance hot wallets on 11 blockchains on October 29, most of it in about 30 minutes. The FBI says North Korea did it.
Now zoom out.
Hackers now send AI agents to do the work. The French money left over several days before the bank confirmed anything. Fake IDs passed the crypto exchanges' checks. About $63 million in stablecoins became 27,553 Ether in 4 hours. Part of it vanished into Monero, a coin built to hide who sends and who receives.
Covid locked the streets. This time the lock is on the bank app, and €118 million is already gone. Nobody is calling this a crisis yet. But central bankers already plan for the day the hackers get in.
The G7 agreed to run drills that simulate AI attacks on banks. The ECB gave eurozone banks until October 31 to hand in AI cyber defence plans. And last month the IMF chief warned we may end up with "lots of people with shoeboxes under their beds."
We confirm every attack on banks and exchanges before we post it. Follow for the next confirmed case, and share this with anyone whose salary lands in a bank account.
Elon Musk lost a $56 billion pay package to a man who owned 9 Tesla shares. A judge voided the deal, then ordered Tesla to pay that man's lawyers $345 million, after they asked for $5.6 billion.
Then Delaware's Supreme Court gave it all back. By then the package was worth $139 billion. The man with 9 shares got $1.
In the video below, Musk walks on stage right after shareholders voted for his pay a second time: "Hot damn, I love you guys."
In 2018 Tesla's board offered Musk options on 304 million shares, about 9% of the company, if Tesla hit a set of huge targets. It hit every one.
Richard Tornetta, a former heavy metal drummer with 9 shares, sued that same year.
In January 2024 a Delaware judge struck the deal down and called it "unfathomable."
His lawyers asked for $5.6 billion in fees. The judge called that a windfall and gave them $345 million.
In June 2024 shareholders voted for the package again. In December the judge rejected it again.
Musk moved Tesla's legal home from Delaware to Texas.
On December 19, 2025, the Delaware Supreme Court reversed it, unanimously. Throwing the deal out, it said, left Musk "uncompensated for his time and efforts over a period of six years." The lawyers' fee was cut by about 80%. Damages: $1.
Musk said he was "vindicated."
9 shares froze the biggest paycheck in history for 7 years. The final bill for the man who started it: $1.
Did the system protect shareholders, or did 9 shares nearly cost Musk $139 billion?
UPDATING CHROME DOESN'T UPDATE ON YOUR MAC!
Playwright, puppeteer, cursor, slack, discord, vs code and a bunch of other electron apps ship their own chromium.
Those copies don’t auto-update.
On oct 27 google pushed chrome 156.0.8078.73 with 52 security fixes (4 critical, including a sandbox escape). Your system chrome probably got it.
The hidden copies didn’t.
PASTE THIS into claude code / cursor / any coding agent:
“find every playwright and puppeteer browser cache on this mac (~/Library/Caches/ms-playwright, ~/.cache/puppeteer, ~/Library/Caches/puppeteer). list each chromium build with its version and delete only the ones older than 156.0.8078.73. do not touch any apps. then check /Applications/Google Chrome. app /Contents/Info.plist for my system chrome version. Scan every app in /Applications and ~/Applications for Electron Framework. Framework, read its version and chromium version, and compare against the 3 currently supported electron releases (45/44/43). Give me a table: app | electron version | chromium version | supported (yes/no). Finally, if i have playwright mcp, set it to use system chrome with --browser chrome.”
Took me X minutes. Found X outdated chromium builds, X GB of dead cache, and [app] on unsupported electron.
Your browser is only as updated as the oldest chromium on your machine.
Run it and reply with the numbers your received.
Don't delete Playwright. Paste this into Claude Code instead:
"Find every Playwright/Puppeteer browser cache on this machine and delete the Chromium builds older than 156.0.8078.73. Then edit the Playwright MCP config to add --browser chrome --sandbox so it uses my auto-updated system Chrome. Also grep every Electron app in AppData for its Chrome/ Electron/ version string and tell me which ones are below Electron 43.8.6 / 44.10.1 / 45.2.1."
Took 10 min. Found 3 vulnerable Chromiums, a dead Puppeteer cache, and an EOL Electron in Cursor.
$2,200 once and 11 watts at idle that's what a 24/7 ai employee costs now
the math nobody posts:
1. hardware. used mac studio m1 max for about ¥350k (~$2,200). he says skip the new ultra
2. power. apple's own spec sheet: 11w idle, 115w max. even maxed out 24/7 that's ~1,000 kwh a year
3. stack. grok bot on top, codex + claude code + mcps underneath. one agent driving the others
4. access. anydesk into the box from your phone. you never sit at the desk
the part that got me: two days ago he posted that grok bot driving claude code beats him prompting claude directly
so the human job is now just assigning
what would you hand it first?

🇺🇸 BLACKROCK JUST DUMPED $405,000,000.00 WORTH OF BITCOIN!
INSTITUTIONAL SELLING PRESSURE IS INTENSIFYING!
BITCOIN IS FACING ONE OF ITS MOST DANGEROUS MOMENTS THIS YEAR!
THE WORST IS YET TO COME.
🚨 HISTORY SHOWS WHY PANIC-SELLING BITCOIN HAS BEEN THE BIGGEST MISTAKE!
Run through the history:
→ 2010: BTC crashed to $0.10
→ 2011: crashed to $1
→ 2013: crashed to $50
→ 2015: crashed to $200
→ 2018: crashed to $3,000
→ 2022: crashed to $15,000
→ 2024: crashed to $39,000
→ 2026: crashed to $60,000
Notice something?
Every single one of those felt like the end of Bitcoin while it was happening. Every one came with headlines declaring it dead. Every one had people swearing this time was different.
And every single crash bottom became a price people would later beg to buy at.
$3,000 looked like a catastrophe in 2018. Today it looks like a fantasy.
$15,000 felt like the death of crypto in 2022. Now it's unthinkable.
That's the pattern nobody internalizes until they've lived through two or three of them. The crash price of one cycle becomes the dream entry of the next.
The hard part isn't knowing this. It's believing it while your portfolio is bleeding and the timeline is screaming that it's over.
Yesterday's disaster price is tomorrow's missed opportunity.
Will history repeat itself?

$4 per million tokens just survived a whole month of google openai and moonshot throwing everything they had at it
opus 5.5 dropped on september 22. less than two months after opus 5, and 20% cheaper. $4 in, $20 out per million tokens, with a 1M context
then october happened
> sep 30: google ships gemini 4 argon, the first gemini 4 model
> oct 4: openai's codex lead tibo starts a 28 day challenge. every single day either a real improvement or a full reset of everyone's usage limits. day 1 alone made gpt-6 astra and sol about 50% faster
> oct 23: moonshot drops kimi k3.1 pro with a 1M context and promises open weights
> late october: codex pro and business limits get doubled for good
three labs four big moves. one month
and on artificial analysis' independent intelligence index, opus 5.5 still sits at 58. gpt-6 astra is at 53
it's not perfect. astra still beats it on terminal-bench-science, 64.6% vs 58.7%. and independent testers got a lower terminal-bench score than anthropic claimed
but look at what october actually looked like from the outside
one lab shipped a model and went quiet.
the other spent 28 days handing out speedups, doubled limits and resets to keep people in the app
that's not a model race anymore. that's a retention war. and retention wars get expensive fast
the model doesn't have to be the best at everything. it has to be the one people stop switching away from
so who actually won october for you: opus, codex or something nobody's talking about?
🚨Brazil's largest crypto exchange froze all withdrawals this morning. Researchers tracked more than $40 million leaving in 34 minutes.
Mercado Bitcoin paused deposits and withdrawals after wallets tied to the exchange were drained. It's the second exchange hack in 4 days, after Binance lost $6.3 billion.
What was taken (researcher estimates):
• ~2,852 ETH
• 106 BTC
• 10,700 SOL
• 6.7 million XLM
• 77,000 AVAX
• 200+ other tokens
What we know:
• At least 10 blockchains hit: Ethereum, Solana, Tron, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BSC, Stellar and more
• Main outflows: 06:19 to 06:53 UTC
• No smart contract exploit. The transfers looked like normal transactions. How the attacker got signing access is unknown
• Tether froze $4.5 million in USDT linked to the hack
• The exchange says the incident was contained, no customers were harmed and no data leaked
The real risk now: until withdrawals reopen, customer funds are stuck, and there's no reopening date yet. Hacks like this are usually followed by fake "refund" emails and messages.
If you have funds on Mercado Bitcoin: don't send new deposits until it reopens, and ignore any "refund" links.
