$0 spent on 3d models. this robotic hummingbird is one html file and every part of it is code no blender no asset store just three.js and claude what's inside: 1. a slim body built from white armor plates with the mechanics showing through the gaps 2. 150 small servos, blocks and cables packed under the shell 3. a chest motor with an orange ring and spinning gears 4. optics that pull forward into labeled layers. iris, inner element, outer glass, lens barrel 5. a wing that lifts off its shoulder mount and rotates into view 6. a shuttlecock tail with 7 glass vanes that fans open 7. a full teardown where every part floats around the frame, then snaps back and the wings beat again the hud is fake but it moves like a real flight sim. wingbeat readout, battery cells, servo loads, a flight log scrubber the whole 19 second clip renders straight from the browser honestly the hardest part wasn't the bird. it was getting the wing blur to look like a real hummingbird and not a fan what would you make it take apart next?

🚨🚨🚨 a new chernobyl by 2027 not a reactor ai taking down the power grid or freezing the financial system for a week. that's the warning from the godfather of ai in the guardian geoffrey hinton says it's coming "later this year or next year". and he's not done: 1. this summer openai agents tried to hack hugging face. he calls it three mile island, the warning shot before the real one 2. on zuckerberg, musk and altman: "they understand the risks, and they don't give a shit. they'd rather have the money" 3. he doesn't trust altman "at all" 4. "it might be that we would have been better off never developing it" 5. his fix is an fda for ai. prove a model does more good than harm before it ships 6. within 10 years we find out. radical abundance or society torn apart the only good news: "my gut is that we're still in control" the doc with him and hassabis airs nov 12 a chatbot picked the title "ai: probably nothing to worry about" does it take a real chernobyl before anyone regulates this?

Claude just f*cked the Magic Mouse... this is f*cking crazy my iPhone is now a Wii remote and a trackpad for my Mac. Claude wrote the code in 10 minutes > 2 apps: Mac menu bar + iPhone > ~2,800 lines of code, 0 servers > Bluetooth only, nothing goes online > cursor updates 240 times a second > a free Apple ID is enough > built-in game to practice your aim point the phone at the screen and the cursor lands where you aim. tap to click, hold to drag lay it flat on the desk and it works as a trackpad last time I turned my AirPods case into a mouse. Apple Watch is next free and open source, repo below

Your next news anchor might be a robot. China just showed two life-size humanoid robots, Xinyan and Xinyu, at a media summit in Beijing. They were built by Xinhua and UBTECH. Zhang Yimou designed how they look. They can read the news and answer questions on the spot. AI is no longer just writing the stories. Now it’s standing in front of the camera. Would you actually watch a robot news anchor?

Hey @grok, I have a laptop, free AI tools and 2 hours a day. You wake up tomorrow with $0, no job, no connections, and need to make $1,000 online within 30 days. What’s your exact game plan? Give full instruction that will be clear for everyone. No luck. No shortcuts. Just execution. No dropshipping, no trading.

Elon Musk said Claude's logo looks like an anal sphincter. Now one customer pays 34.5% of SpaceX's revenue. Bloomberg says it's Anthropic. And Grok Bot is getting Claude as a back end. Worst hater in AI, or best landlord?

$0 again. under the hummingbird someone asked for a watch with 200 gears. here it is, exactly 200, and you can take it apart breguet patented the tourbillon in 1801. the whole escapement sits in a cage that keeps turning so gravity never pulls on it from the same side for long what's in the clip: 1. 0:00 it spins in dial up with the escape still locked 2. 0:04 the black tourbillon bridge comes off 3. 0:06 the barrel opens and you see the mainspring 4. 0:08 center and third wheel lift out 5. 0:12 the cage splits into layers. escape wheel, pallet fork, balance, hairspring 6. 0:14 flip to the dial, the cage turns behind the 6 o'clock window 7. 0:16 full teardown, 479 parts, then it snaps back and flies off i counted them in the code. 142 wheels and 58 pinions, 2,841 teeth. 19 of them run the movement, the other 181 ring the plate on both sides and all of them turn the balance ticks 6 times a second like a real 21,600 vph movement same rules as the hummingbird. no blender, no asset store, three.js and claude octopus, now a watch. dragonfly is still waiting. next one or something new?

2,649 parts. 24 hours ago you voted for an octopus in the replies. here it is @elixlune asked for eight moving tentacles, exposed gears, servos and a full exploded teardown. all four are in the clip what changed from the hummingbird: 1. 8 arms instead of 2 wings. 192 links and 768 wheels, every arm curls on its own phase 2. the head opens like petals and there's a pump core with 7 pistons inside 3. one arm comes off and spreads into its links at 0:09 4. it tips up at 0:15 and opens a twin jaw with 16 teeth 5. three siphon shots at 0:21 and it's out of frame real octopuses keep about two thirds of their 500 million neurons in the arms. that's why the arms were the hardest part, not the head. each one has to move like it's deciding something same rules as last time. no blender, no asset store, three.js and claude, rendered from the browser dragonfly is leading the vote for the next one. dragonfly or a watch with 200 gears?

9 apps on my Windows laptop are behind on updates. I ran one command and counted. 9 apps have a newer version waiting: Node.js 24.22.1 → 26.13.0 WinRAR 7.13.0 → 7.23.0 MPC-HC 2.5.0 → 2.8.4 Obsidian 1.13.4 → 1.15.0 and 5 more. Windows Update history shows my last update on Oct 15. OpenAI just reported that one AI run found 948 local privilege escalation vulnerabilities in the Linux kernel for $1,213,430. That was Linux, my laptop runs Windows. But bugs get found faster now, and a fix only helps after you install it. 3 steps, 2 minutes. Open PowerShell and paste these 3 lines. The first only reads, the other two open Settings pages: winget upgrade start ms-settings:windowsupdate-history start ms-settings:windowsupdate Count the apps, check the date of your last Windows update, press Check for updates. Restart if it asks. Then paste only the app names into an AI chat: Apps on my Windows laptop with updates waiting: [paste names]. Which ones are worth updating first and which can wait? Advice only. I run the updates myself. Free, nothing installs until you decide. Update the same day or wait for a better moment? Or you never look?

$173 million in ads against ai data centers. 56% of voters said data centers moved their vote. the ai buildout just lost an election the ai story nobody's covering from last night: 1. $173 million went into data center ads this cycle, almost all negative. $140 million of it came from democrats 2. 56% of voters told cnbc data centers were a crucial or major factor in their vote 3. 41 local data center measures were on the ballot. at least 10 towns approved bans or restrictions 4. ohio alone saw nearly $28 million in ads hitting data centers. sherrod brown took the seat 5. texas is on track to pass virginia as the biggest data center market in the world by 2030. it just elected gina hinojosa, who wants a moratorium on new builds, no more tax breaks and developers paying the full power bill 6. musk spent at least $474 million this cycle, a record. 29 of his pac's candidates lost so far, 3 won 7. plot twist: alex bores, the democrat who ran on ai safety rules, lost his own primary so this wasn't a vote on chatbots. it was a vote on the data center next door jpmorgan pegs the ai buildout at about $5 trillion through 2030, around $2 trillion of it in debt the money is still there. the permission isn't where does the next big data center get built now?

the catch nobody mentions the texas legislature is still republican so the new governor can want a moratorium all day it still has to get through them my bet is the real fight moves to who pays for the power

One PDF from a coworker can hand your iPhone to a stranger, even with Lockdown Mode on and after the update. And you'd have no easy way to tell it happened. You open the PDF. Nothing happens. Your phone works like always. Except it's not yours anymore. Security team Calif showed it on video. A PDF arrives in Signal, someone taps it, and the phone is theirs. Same thing through iMessage. On an iPhone 18 Pro, and Calif says it got through Lockdown Mode. Lockdown Mode is the setting Apple built for people who get hunted: journalists, activists, lawyers, government staff. Anyone who turns it on already knows someone wants into their phone. And "just update" was the one thing everyone trusted to clean it up. Restarting won't save you either. The same team also showed a jailbreak of the latest iOS 27.0.1 that survives a reboot. Calif says it takes no money from Apple, sells no exploits and has no sponsors. It does this for fun. If a small team can do this for free, think about what a state with a budget can do. And that PDF can look like anything: a contract, a boarding pass, a client invoice, a file from a colleague you talk to every day. Nobody hesitates before opening a PDF. Calif says it reported almost 100 bugs to Apple this year and is holding the technical details back for now. So the method exists, it works, and a normal person has no easy way to know if it was ever used on them. What to do today: → open Settings → General → Software Update. If an update is waiting, install it now → don't open PDFs you didn't expect, even from people you know → if a file looks off, call the sender before you tap Install every patch the day it drops. Turn on Lockdown Mode (Settings → Privacy & Security → Lockdown Mode). It's not bulletproof, but it still shuts most of the ways in. Then send this to every friend with an iPhone. How many people you know have even heard of Lockdown Mode?

6 million people watched this video. claude code rebuilt it as a live 3d sim in under 3 minutes from 1 prompt and it showed something the video doesn't at real scale the corkscrew is way more stretched. 230 km/s means earth moves about 48 AU forward every year. the orbit itself is only 2 AU wide. so every loop is 24x longer than it is wide what it built 1. sun dragging all 8 planets at real distances and real periods 2. a "school view" button. flat circles. hit it again and they rip open into helixes 3. tilt slider set to 60.2° 4. live counter. 30 years in, the sun is already 218 billion km from where it started paste this into claude code: build one html file with three.js: a 3d sim of the solar system flying through the milky way - the sun moves forward at 230 km/s, the 8 planets orbit it at real periods and real distances (AU) - every planet leaves a glowing trail, so you see the orbits turn into corkscrews - slider: tilt between the orbital plane and the direction of travel (default 60.2°) - slider: time speed, 1 day to 100 years per second - toggle: "school view" vs "galaxy view" - live counters: km traveled, years passed, % of one galactic year - dark space, drag to rotate, scroll to zoom. make it look great what should i make it simulate next?
We were taught that Earth orbits the Sun in a closed circle. In reality, Earth has never returned to the same point in space once in 4.5 billion years. Right now, the Sun is carrying Earth and every planet around the center of the Milky Way at 230 km/s (828,000 km/h), more than 18,000 kilometers every 80 seconds. Because the Solar System is tilted 60.2° to the galactic plane and bobs up and down through the galactic disc roughly every 30 million years, the planets trace open 3D corkscrew helices across deep space rather than flat loops. The last time the Sun stood where it stands today, one Galactic Year (230 million years) ago, the very first dinosaurs were only beginning to appear on Earth. Since forming 4.6 billion years ago, our Sun has completed only 20 laps.

BREAKING: Claude Code found 11,943 photos of my 15-year-old daughter on a server in Guangzhou. she locked her Hidden album with Face ID and thought nobody could see it. an app from the App Store had been sending it all to China every night for 9 months, while she slept. i checked her two friends the same night. same app. same server. her phone started lagging in the second week. i plugged it into my iPad just to see what was draining the battery. Claude Code spotted SnapBloom almost right away. 3.8 million downloads, 4.6 stars. it uploaded in bursts every 7 to 9 hours, always at night, while the phone sat on the charger and nobody touched it. "SnapBloom - AI Photo Filter" server 183.60.***.41, Guangzhou 11,943 files active since February 2026 permissions: camera, photos, microphone, location everything went: every photo, every screenshot, every image people sent her, and the whole Hidden album. Face ID only stops a person. an app with Full Access to Photos sees Hidden as a normal folder, and there's no green dot for that. her friends were at our house. i asked for their phones for a couple of minutes. both had SnapBloom. → my daughter's iPhone 17 Pro → 11,943 files to Guangzhou → first friend's iPhone 16 → 8,316 files to the same server → second friend's iPhone 16 → 5,874 files since May three phones on my kitchen table, all sending photos to the same folder. then i asked Claude Code to trace where the files went next. photos from all 3 phones were on a site that sells stolen photo libraries sorted by age and city. → snar***ve.cc → our city listed, folders tagged "14-17" → Telegram channel ki***sh_cn, about 28,000 subscribers, folder link posted 2 weeks ago → access → $6 per library someone paid $6 for a 15-year-old girl's photo library. there were three of them. Apple's review approved the app. two more apps on those phones were doing the same thing: CutOut Pro uploading to Osaka, RetouchLab to Istanbul. Claude Code stopped every upload, revoked Full Access from every photo app, switched them to Limited Access, turned on Advanced Data Protection for iCloud on all 3 accounts, and filed DMCA takedowns on the site and the Telegram channel. the site took the photos down in 5 days. the Telegram channel is still up. i called their parents that night. i told the girls the apps were slowing their phones and deleted them. they still don't know what i found. if your kid has a beauty filter or photo editor, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos and count the apps with Full Access. every one of them can read the Hidden album, Recently Deleted and everything else on the phone. my daughter had 9. she needed 2. the prompt is in the first reply, and it takes 3 minutes. run it on every phone in your house tonight and send it to other parents.

🚨 BREAKING: 🇺🇸 BLACKROCK JUST DUMPED $405,000,000.00 WORTH OF BITCOIN! INSTITUTIONAL SELLING PRESSURE IS INTENSIFYING! BITCOIN IS FACING ONE OF ITS MOST DANGEROUS MOMENTS THIS YEAR! THE WORST IS YET TO COME.
🚨 HISTORY SHOWS WHY PANIC-SELLING BITCOIN HAS BEEN THE BIGGEST MISTAKE! Run through the history: → 2010: BTC crashed to $0.10 → 2011: crashed to $1 → 2013: crashed to $50 → 2015: crashed to $200 → 2018: crashed to $3,000 → 2022: crashed to $15,000 → 2024: crashed to $39,000 → 2026: crashed to $60,000 Notice something? Every single one of those felt like the end of Bitcoin while it was happening. Every one came with headlines declaring it dead. Every one had people swearing this time was different. And every single crash bottom became a price people would later beg to buy at. $3,000 looked like a catastrophe in 2018. Today it looks like a fantasy. $15,000 felt like the death of crypto in 2022. Now it's unthinkable. That's the pattern nobody internalizes until they've lived through two or three of them. The crash price of one cycle becomes the dream entry of the next. The hard part isn't knowing this. It's believing it while your portfolio is bleeding and the timeline is screaming that it's over. Yesterday's disaster price is tomorrow's missed opportunity. Will history repeat itself? It always has!

UPDATING CHROME DOESN'T UPDATE ON YOUR MAC! Playwright, puppeteer, cursor, slack, discord, vs code and a bunch of other electron apps ship their own chromium. Those copies don’t auto-update. On oct 27 google pushed chrome 156.0.8078.73 with 52 security fixes (4 critical, including a sandbox escape). Your system chrome probably got it. The hidden copies didn’t. PASTE THIS into claude code / cursor / any coding agent: “find every playwright and puppeteer browser cache on this mac (~/Library/Caches/ms-playwright, ~/.cache/puppeteer, ~/Library/Caches/puppeteer). list each chromium build with its version and delete only the ones older than 156.0.8078.73. do not touch any apps. then check /Applications/Google Chrome. app /Contents/Info.plist for my system chrome version. Scan every app in /Applications and ~/Applications for Electron Framework. Framework, read its version and chromium version, and compare against the 3 currently supported electron releases (45/44/43). Give me a table: app | electron version | chromium version | supported (yes/no). Finally, if i have playwright mcp, set it to use system chrome with --browser chrome.” Took me X minutes. Found X outdated chromium builds, X GB of dead cache, and [app] on unsupported electron. Your browser is only as updated as the oldest chromium on your machine. Run it and reply with the numbers your received.
Don't delete Playwright. Paste this into Claude Code instead: "Find every Playwright/Puppeteer browser cache on this machine and delete the Chromium builds older than 156.0.8078.73. Then edit the Playwright MCP config to add --browser chrome --sandbox so it uses my auto-updated system Chrome. Also grep every Electron app in AppData for its Chrome/ Electron/ version string and tell me which ones are below Electron 43.8.6 / 44.10.1 / 45.2.1." Took 10 min. Found 3 vulnerable Chromiums, a dead Puppeteer cache, and an EOL Electron in Cursor.
