I quit my job to build in public. Here's my story 👇
Got introduced to the indie dev scene through @thepatwalls and @starter_story. Watching interviews of regular people building cool products from their bedrooms, it felt foreign at first. But something deep down told me this was exactly what I wanted to do.
Watching @marclou with @trust_mrr , @robj3d3 building SuperX, and my senior @anaestheticdev venturing down this path at playchess.tech, these folks made the journey feel possible and doable.
Something that can be real.
I'm excited to embark on the same path. And I'm building 🥁🥁🥁

It's already at $182 MRR! Feels insaneee 🤯
Here's the part nobody posts about: 3 days ago I almost didn't ship it.
The product is nowhere near perfect.
The tech isn't perfect.
There are 100s of features I still want to build.
The developer in me was screaming "not yet, it's unfinished, it's not perfect."
I've been stuck in this loop a lot the past few months.
You build something. It doesn't feel good enough.
You tell yourself it's just one more feature away.
Then one more. Then one more.
This time I shipped it anyway.
Do I have the right SaaS positioning? No.
Do I have PMF? Heck no.
Is the product polished? Not even close.
Is $182 life changing money? Lol, nowhere near.
But...
Am I having fun? More than I have in years.
Did a stranger pay for something I built in my room? Yes. Still processing it.
Do I wake up excited to work? Every single day.
That feels unreal, not gonna lie.
V2 is going to be insane.
What a time to be alive!!

I just signed a sponsor for my Reel, they wanted something funny / quirky in their brief.
In order to fill that request I might have done..... too much 😨

Editing apps: You need to manually scrub through timelines, removes silences, add B rolls, music, captions and spend a solid hour editing.
