We are anticipating unusually cold temperatures in Alabama this week, so I am urging everyone to be prepared, take caution traveling and stay weather aware. #alwx #alpolitics

🔴 SEVERE UPDATE - We are becoming increasingly concerned about the potential for damaging winds of 70+ mph & tornadoes (a couple could be strong EF2+ tornadoes) Monday night into Tuesday morning. The greatest risk for tornadoes is from 3am to 9am on Tuesday. More updates soon...

ALT Map of southeast Mississippi, southwest and south-central Alabama, and northwest Florida depicts the concerns for severe storms Monday into Tuesday morning. Damaging winds of 70+ mph and tornadoes (a couple tornadoes could be strong EF2+ tornadoes) are the main concern across much of the area. The greatest risk for tornadoes is 3am-9am Tuesday morning. Storms will develop as the warm front lifts inland Monday night with conditions quickly deteriorating overnight. Don't let nighttime storms surprise you! Have a plan, know what to do when warnings are issued, and ensure your weather works properly. Have multiple ways to receive warnings including one that will wake you up in the middle of the night.
Thank you Steppin Out News for recognizing our award winning facility and the team at MottMac lead by Anne Laurendine Brooks! They did an amazing job on this storied property located in Mobile’s Historic Campground District.
