We’re not winning a league title with these sporting directors. It is as simple as that.

Feels a bit of a pointless exercise having Alonso wait for Sanchez to inevitably mess up. If it doesn’t happen until a few games into the season the window will be closing/closed and we’re chasing our tails again.

🚨Statement🚨
We are angered and frustrated, but sadly not surprised that the club have decided to rebrand our Under 21 and Under 19 squads as Cobham Next Gen.
This is another example of a parasitic ownership stripping away the identity of our wonderful and historic football club piece by piece. Following the use of the CFCLDN brand in other marketing ploys, we feel this is another attack on the setup that was in place before Blueco acquired the club in 2022.
Chelsea’s youth academy has produced an array of incredible talent who have represented the name “Chelsea” at both youth and senior level, including club stalwarts such as John Terry and Reece James, as well as dozens of others who have had successful professional careers.
The youth academy that Cobham hosts is renowned for being one of the best in the world and players have often identified with the club’s name throughout their upbringing in football.
Players should be proud to represent that name from the moment they enter the youth setup, and not a soulless brand name cooked up by those who do not respect the club’s heritage.
We strongly urge other supporter groups to send a strong message to the club that this is yet another unacceptable act from the club’s current custodians.
We must continue to fight for what matters to this football club. That does not just entail demanding better standards on the pitch than what we have been witness to for the last four years, but also respecting the foundations of a club that is so important to so many people.
We remain extremely concerned about the direction the club is heading in, particularly based on recent media reports about the ownership structure.
We will continue to monitor the situation and should our concerns escalate, we will not hesitate to once again call for demonstrative action to try and protect our football club.

We’ll just leave this here for those that didn’t read it yesterday.
“a reluctance to value proven experience, and no obvious shift in recruitment philosophy”
A quick update from us.
We’ve been relatively quiet since the close of last season. After a full on campaign, we wanted to take stock and see if the club had truly self-reflected.
Now July 1 is here and Xabi Alonso officially takes the reins, we think it’s the right time to make our position clear.
The club itself spoke about a period of self reflection. From where we’re standing, very little seems to have changed. The same people responsible for years of poor decision making are still leading football operations. That gives us little confidence that meaningful change is on the horizon.
Instead, accountability appears to have been placed almost entirely at the feet of the former manager. Yet this was the same club that derailed Strasbourg’s season by pursuing Liam Rosenior in January, only for him to go on to become the worst manager in Chelsea’s modern history before ending the season under the uninspiring Callum McFarlane. That is not the behaviour of a serious football institution.
We’ll allow the summer window to play out before making any final judgement. But the early signs suggest more project signings, a reluctance to value proven experience, and no obvious shift in recruitment philosophy. Meanwhile, our rivals continue to strengthen with established quality.
The issue has never been one manager or one transfer window. It’s the structure. It’s the people leading football operations.
Unless there is genuine accountability and meaningful structural change at football operations level, our concerns remain exactly the same.
We will continue to closely watch the direction of the club over the Summer and as a group, we remain committed to supporter action in the new season.

Been a bit quiet on here the last couple of days. Just enjoying some time with my wife and boys. It’s been pretty full on over the last few months so I’m buzzing to spend some extra time with the family over the summer.
I’ve also been digesting some of the news that broke following the FA Cup Final.
On face value I’m glad we’ve secured a manager who feels like the right calibre of appointment for a club like Chelsea.
Xabi has won it all. He’s worked under elite managers and, fundamentally, understands what elite looks like and what it takes to get there. The key now is whether he’s genuinely given the autonomy to do the job properly.
The micromanagement culture at this football club has to end. His voice should be the loudest football voice in the building. The sporting directors should be facilitating the managers requirements, not imposing their own.
Thats also why I categorically still have no faith in the sporting directors. The decision to continue with Callum McFarlane only reinforces that feeling for me. His record has been poor and, personally, I think it sends the wrong message to the incoming manager and his staff. It still feels like the club want their own man on the ground.
I also think it’s pretty fucking obvious that a combination of poor results, media scrutiny, player unrest and sustained supporter pressure has contributed to the shift in direction. It really wasn’t that long ago we were hearing briefs about no change to the model, planning around Rosenior and Champions League qualification not being essential.
I’m also proud of what supporters have managed to build over the last few months in terms of scrutiny and pressure. We’re certainly not always going to please everyone but we’ve given it a go.
We keep moving forward and we keep holding these people accountable.
It will always remain BluecoOut for me. The damage has been done and the trust has been broken.

🏆 Today is Cup Final Day 🏆
A day we all look forward to. A day that brings Chelsea supporters together to celebrate our football club.
We look forward to meeting those joining us to march behind a new BLUECOOUT banner up Wembley Way today. An opportunity to demonstrate that under this ownership our football club continues to be stripped of its rich history, identity and connection to its supporters.
We appreciate everyone’s opinions on whether today is the right time or occasion. However, we’ve been very clear that the line has been crossed and we must continue to amplify our message against this ownership as we move towards the summer.

🚨 TOMORROW’S PROTEST DETAILS 🚨
We have been contacted by the Met Police who have asked that supporters attending the protest march prior to the FA Cup Final gather at Black Sheep Coffee beside Wembley Park Station.
Tomorrow represents one final opportunity this season to send a powerful message directly to the ownership.
We gather not just to protest, but to come together as Chelsea supporters, enjoy the occasion and march collectively under one unified message against an ownership many believe hold little regard for supporters or the identity of Chelsea Football Club.
The visuals tomorrow will be powerful. The world’s media will be there. Let’s make sure the message is impossible to ignore.

The bigger picture is that the current owners of Chelsea Football Club are not fit for purpose.
If supporters agree with the principle of taking action against the ownership, as we believe many do then walking up Wembley Way tomorrow prior to the FA Cup Final really shouldn’t be an issue.
We’ve heard plenty of noise around “supporting the team on cup final day” so let’s put that narrative to bed right now.
We will ALWAYS support the team.
This protest is not aimed at the players. It’s aimed at the people running this football club into the ground. Framing it any other way is, in our opinion, is shortsighted.
Let’s rewind 11 months.
Club World Cup winners.
Fast forward to now:
✅ 9th in the league
✅ Unlikely to have European football next season
✅ A CWC winning manager resigns. The second manager to do so under Blueco
✅ Compliant Liam sacked
✅ Kinetic Cal leading the side into an FA Cup Final
✅ Player unrest across the squad
✅ Ticketing policy controversy
✅ Damning CST surveys & statements
✅ Rival managers laughing in our directors box
✅ Record financial losses at club and holdco level.
✅ Sporting directors handed 60% pay rises despite catastrophic failures
Tomorrow the world’s media will descend on Wembley and they will cover the protest.
We have one more opportunity this season to send a powerful message directly to our OWNERS that enough is enough.

This is something that has been raised. Why not on a cup final day? Genuine question because I think some people are being a bit shortsighted here.
These protests aren’t aimed at the manager or the players. They’re not even really about results.
They’re aimed at an ownership and sporting structure that have fundamentally failed Chelsea Football Club whilst operating with a level of arrogance and detachment from supporters that many of us have never witnessed before.
As we’ve always said, the purpose of these protests is to amplify scrutiny and attention on this ownership. What better stage to do that than Wembley before a Cup Final? Chelsea fans marching together down Wembley Way under one unified message is powerful imagery. It’s also never been done before.
The idea that “you can’t protest on a cup final day” effectively gives the ownership a free pass whenever there’s a big occasion attached to the club.
If you go back to the Club World Cup, that final and winning it ultimately became part of the narrative used to vindicate the project. Since then we’ve seen huge pay rises handed to directors despite continued failure, more managerial sackings, player unrest, another underwhelming league finish, potentially no European football and the possibility of selling established players to fix financial issues.
There’s a far bigger picture at play than just Saturday’s result.
The whole point of protest is to stand by your principles regardless of circumstance.
