Scarborough deserves transit that actually gets people where they need to go, and so much more.
Thank you to Scarborough—Guildwood MPP @AndreaHazelll for your endorsement to get Scarborough moving.
On Monday, October 26, vote for real change and real results.

If the first Toronto mayor to seriously fix the city's finances is also the first incumbent to lose reelection, this city will be doomed to austerity and crumbling infrastructure for decades.
A new poll finds Brad Bradford has taken a narrow lead over Olivia Chow in the Toronto mayoral race, with less than a week to go until election day.

Tommy Douglas knew then what New Democrats still know today.
If we could mobilize the resources of this country to defeat Nazi tyranny, there is no reason we cannot do the same to make sure that each and every person has what they need to live a dignified life.
Happy Birthday, Tommy.

There’s lots of rightful celebration over Solomon getting elected, but I really wanna highlight Jamie Han. A formidable organizer and definitely someone that has a very bright future
I’m levitating today in the warm afterglow of a left-wing surge in my home city of Vancouver!
Democratic socialists and progressives united to take on the power of big money and the politics of fear and division.
The parties were strategic in agreeing on a fixed number of candidates, and narrowed the field for one progressive mayoralty candidate.
This was key – working together across differences is what’s needed in these scary political times. Congrats to @COPEVancouver, @OneCityVan, and the @VanGreens: it wasn’t always easy, but it worked.
Cheers and flowers for all the candidates and volunteers who threw down hard on the ground game: this is how we build power from below! People organized relentlessly for a city government for the 99% – and they *won*.
Today Vancouver belongs to the many, not the money.
Congrats to Mayor-elect @PtFry, super councillor @seanorr, @ynd_jnd members Solomon Yi-Kieran and Jamie Han, and everyone involved in this thrilling victory.

In retrospect it's insane Stephen Molnar and co. didn't fridge Ken after this and try and give Sarah Kirby-Yung a brat FIFA summer. Could've saved more than just Mike Klassen...
CYND would like to warmly congratulate Young New Democrats Solomon Yi-Kieran and Jamie Han for getting elected to Vancouver City Council and Park Board respectively under the banner of COPE, a socialist municipal party. Together, Young New Democrats are making history!
Newly elected COPE City Councillors standing alongside Solomon Yi-Kieran celebrating their victory, addressing supporters in a room full of energy.

this is the happiest i’ve ever been about an election victory in my life. i had a feeling it would be good but i did not expect pete to blow ken out of the water like he did, and i did not expect the full COPE sweep. it’s so beautiful. long live vancouver the people’s city.
I am voting for Olivia Chow for Mayor of Toronto. Her commitment to a city that works for everyone has been clear and deserves support. She is wise and caring. She pushes forward with courage and compassion and has the integrity and consistency we need at this moment.

My NEW article is out with @CDN_Dimension
If we want to be masters in our own home, Canadians must democratically own the key means of production through a combination of public, worker, and cooperative ownership.
