Today, airport workers, Rev. Sadler and Charlotte City Councilmembers gathered at CLT to honor Colleen Coates, a mother and beloved coworker who died after collapsing on a jet bridge while waiting to clean an American Airlines aircraft in extreme heat. For years, Colleen organized and fought for fair pay, affordable healthcare and stronger workplace protections. American Airlines and its contractors have always had the power to do better. Instead, the system has prioritized profits over a human life.  The time for excuses is over. It is time for action, change and accountability. 💜✈️ #groundedincharlotte #unionstrong
