AFL-CIO President @LizShuler joined @BarackObama in Cleveland today to rally with working people for two of labor’s strongest allies, @AmyActonOH and @SherrodBrown. Ohio is ready for change, and Amy and Sherrod will deliver for working families across the Buckeye state! ✊

Working people are tired of being left behind and struggling to make ends meet. We need to send candidates like our union brother @BPforCongress to Congress so we can finally create an economy that works for all of us! Make your plan to vote: betterinaunion.org/vote

Working people don’t like it when you tear up union contracts, rip health care away from millions of people, take food assistance away from hungry kids and make shit more expensive. We need elected leaders who are focused on giving workers some much needed breathing room.

Enten: "Trump's net approval rating -- its all time low! -35 points, the worst he has ever been in the Reuters/Ipsos poll. Among independents he's 54 points underwater. NBC -- worst ever. ABC -- worst ever. Ipsos -- worst ever. Pew -- worst ever."

It was an honor to be with AFL-CIO leaders in Cincinnati. They’re fighting for an economy that puts workers before billionaires and I’m proud to be in that fight with them.

Unions Are the Key to America’s Cost of Living Crisis

Tripling union membership could put $7,700 more a year in the typical worker’s pocket. That’s money for rent, groceries and a little breathing room. Working people don’t need another lecture about budgeting. They need the power to bargain for more. time.com/article/2026/10/15/…

Working people are tired of being left behind. We need elected leaders who understand the struggles workers face so we can create an economy that works for all of us. How do we achieve that? We elect our union family up and down the ballot nationwide. newrepublic.com/article/2162…

These Candidates Don’t Talk to Working People—They Are Working People

Several actual union members are running for Congress as Democrats. Can they win? And just as important, can they make the party do more than pay lip service to labor?

In a world full of politicians who are hollowed husks of their former selves, it’s such a breath of fresh air to hear from one who is an actual human being. We need someone like @AngieNixon fighting for us in the Senate.
Jim DeFede@DeFedeOct 2
As Republicans demonize @AngieNixon, and JD Vance tells her "you don't belong in America," they run the risk of having it backfire. Nixon can be a compelling figure. Here she is getting emotional when I asked her to tell voters something personal about herself. @CBSMiami

Workplace heat safety protections are literally a life-and-death issue. Colleen should still be here. No worker should be forced to choose between their health and keeping their job. Wishing Colleen's family peace in the midst of this unimaginable painful tragedy.

Today, airport workers, Rev. Sadler and Charlotte City Councilmembers gathered at CLT to honor Colleen Coates, a mother and beloved coworker who died after collapsing on a jet bridge while waiting to clean an American Airlines aircraft in extreme heat. For years, Colleen organized and fought for fair pay, affordable healthcare and stronger workplace protections. American Airlines and its contractors have always had the power to do better. Instead, the system has prioritized profits over a human life.  The time for excuses is over. It is time for action, change and accountability. 💜✈️ #groundedincharlotte #unionstrong
